Walsingham Abbey
Absolutely beautiful, so many snowdrops around. Its like a blanket over the woodland. The ruins are worth a look, lots of areas to explore the views and take in the views and listen to the woodpeckers. Lots of benches around to sit and reflect. There are toilets on site and the museum and a tiny shop. Its very muddy so wearing suitable footwear is key.

Walsingham Abbey
Remarkable ancient village dominated by an old Abbey. Wonderful architecture around every corner. Unfortunately for me, the village has succumbed to religious commercialism which I particularly dislike hence the 3 stars. On the positive side, a heritage steam train runs from the local station. Lovely countryside all round Walsingham. Well worth a visit.

Wow, what a gem, lovely walks, plenty of history, the criped is a must. Found the ice house so well hidden. Great place to visit, give yourself time, lots to get round and loved everything moment there.

Nice place and not busy (Sunday afternoon). Not that many ruins, but what's there is quite amazing. Nice park, good for a nice walk. The old Court room was quite interesting, as I've never been/seen before. We spend about 2hours there.Entrance is £6 per person, which is a bit much for what it is. £5 would have been adequate. No immediate parking, but paid parking was available about 2min walk. Note the parking charge at the local car park is 7days a week :(.

£6 entry fee. Crypt had an interesting timeline to read. Beautiful grounds to wander in on a fine day. Site of original holy house marked by a small cross in ground. Very tired museum but interesting old courthouse

Lovely walk around the ruins and woodland area. Woods must be spectacular when the snowdrops are blooming. Very tranquil. Dog friendly on a lead. You can also use your Gardener's World 241 card.

Walsingham Abbey
This was a lovely walk around the grounds, looking at what remained of the Abbey. It was easy to imagine what it looked like all those years ago. It was interesting to see the timeline inside the hall about what happened in Walsingham and what was happening in the rest of the world. Very interesting and peaceful place to visit.

Walsingham Abbey
It has some nice features.and history of the pilgrim trails and place's association with past Kings is interesting. Nice walk around grounds if weather is good. Most of the limited features are not in their original positions due to apparently being destroyed in c16 and were moved during c19 when big gardening landscape was done.

I was visiting Walsingham with my local Church as part of a pilgrimage, went into the Abbey, lovely place. Full of history and historic information of how it was developed. It also included what happened and why it doesn't stand to this day.
