Mossock Hall Golf Club

The car park is very dangerous underfoot, there is No lights at night very dangerous!! My Wife was at a wedding there last night, she is 76yrs old, good on her feet and doesn't drink alcohol, on her way to her car due to the condition of the pathway and it being very dark, she tripped over bruising and cutting her two knees. Something needs to be done to make it safe at night.

Great course can’t wait to play again on a dry day

A lovely golf club and course, a must for golfer's not too long, but very intriguing. Excellent place to play.

Attended a private wake, the pulled pork was extremely salty. Lasagne was sweet, very strange. The man serving filled a tub for himself and put it underneath the counter before we'd all actually finished, quite sure it should have been offered to the person who'd paid first. The waitresses were lovely. We definitely would not choose to eat there again

Nice course and is in good condition. Green's were is great shape.

Played at a corporate golf day. Beautiful course with challenges for players of all levels. Fantastically receptive greens and course condition was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The course was in great condition. The greens have improved so much since the last time I played 3 years ago.

This course is terrible for the price £35 and there is no difference to local course for way cheaper. Kirkby £20 better greens and houghwood is ten times better for the same price. Would never come hear again and not to mention we had three old fellers in front of us with no golf etiquette what so ever 4 hours and 40 mins for just 2 of us to have a round of golf at one point there was us (2 ball) a 2 ball behind and a 4 ball all waiting together on the tee box while there drive 150 yards max and did not let any of us play through. If I was the manager of mossock I would get a grip of your old members who have no respect for anyone else on there and they was 3 of them not even a 4 ball.Everyone knows 4 hours for 4 ball and they was much longer with less and not one other group in front of them either. Scum

Lovely course. Well kept and friendly.Very well setup, with a small range, chipping and putting green and a net.Although it rained heavily on our way over, it still played very well. The course layout is quite open and inviting, with some very fun and interesting holes.The greens were in great condition and relatively fast considering the rain. Fairways were in ok condition and tee boxes also in good condition.Would recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would.Beware - my 11 year old son was verbally abused on the golf course by the course ranger, which was witnessed by his father. The incident was reported to the General Manager who said it would be investigated. The 'investigation' (if you could call it that) compromised of only asking the staff member involved. Requests to check cctv and speak to other golfers who witnessed it were refused. The course ranger (like a stereotypical cowardly bully) denied everything. As it became our word against theirs the GM then deemed the matter closed and refused my request for information to escalate it further. The 'safeguarding policy' is not worth the paper it's written on as its not adhered to or imposed and breaches by staff are ignored. Do yourself a favour and when an incident like this happens again make sure you either record the incident on a mobile or get witness statements yourself for proof because as in my experience the staff lie and the club accept it.
