This is a genuine, long established family business, run with obvious pride and pleasure by its owners. After researching online and finding a car here that ticked all our boxes, we made an appointment to view - to our delight the entire transaction including a test drive and a part-exchange was completed within an hour or so, and we drove home in our beautiful new purchase on the same day! (Very much appreciated as we live some distance away, on the South Coast.)In a lifetime of used-car ownership we have never met such lovely, friendly and efficient sales people as John and Emma. We would recommend their services to anyone in a heartbeat, and wish them every success and every happiness in the future.

Absolutely shocking service. Called and spoke to John about a vehicle on the Monday arranged to trade my current car with the new car upon viewing on the Saturday. Saturday arrives, I dragged my kids out of bed early and took my husband to work at 7am so that I had the car ready to trade in, drove all the way from Bexhill to the garage (2 and a half hours due to an hours traffic through Maidstone), we arrived at the garage and another family were looking at the car and discussing taking it for a test drive, we spoke to a lady who works there who said she thinks John must be confused and thinks they are me as he was aware I was coming in today. John then tells us that the family have already arranged the insurance and are just doing a test drive before buying, we were obviously shocked and angry at our time being wasted, we spoke to a lady whose family member was purchasing the car and made sure they was purchasing before we made the journey home, she then disclosed that she had called John this morning and asked if the car was still available, he had told her that someone was coming in this morning to buy the car and he would contact them (me) and make sure I was still coming in, he then called her back and told her he couldn't find my number so to come in. She also mentioned she was a bit shocked as she believed they was holding the car for them so when she called and found out someone else was buying she was a bit annoyed. John then tried to turn the blame on me and said that's what happens when you don't put down a holding fee, however, neither me nor the other family had been offered a holding fee for the car, we had both believed that we had a verbal agreement in place, I also told him that if that was what he wanted he should've offered it to us and I would've happily paid for it. Had John have offered a holding fee to the other family on the Saturday then when I called on the Monday I wouldn't have even been offered the car. The admin skills to have lost my number are also shocking, if he wasn't sure if I was coming he could've offered them to come in the afternoon so that my morning slot had expired in case I was a no show. I wasted 4 hours of my time trying to collect this car, but due to shoddy admin it was a complete failure!

Purchased a vehicle recently from Dan who was exceptional. No pressure selling and was personable and knowledgeable about the vehicles. The car purchased had a couple of issues which were remedied very quickly and supports the self warranty that the garage offers as part of the purchase. I would highly recommend to those looking to purchase a vehicle from an established and professional company.

Brought a lovely vauxhall corsa here for my partners son. They serviced and mot it before we picked car up. A lovely family run business, pleasant and under no pressure to buy. would recommend, and would look here first for another car. Thank you

Had a fantastic experience with Ormonde Garage. As you might expect everything was pleasant pre-sale. However, the true test of customer service is what happens after a sale. My daughter's car developed a glitch that was addressed quickly and without any fuss and she is currently enjoying tons of happy motoring in her first car. The friendly, honest service we received both pre and after sale will definitely make us return again. Highly recommended!

I called up Ormonde Garage regarding a Dacia Duster that I was interested in, and John answered my call. He was so warm and courteous over the call that I decided I have to visit this dealership (20 miles away) right away.I walked into the dealership and was given a warm welcome by Emma and John. Emma just gave me the car keys and asked me to take it out for a spin. John gave me £20, asked me to fuel the car and take as much time as I wanted, to test drive the car until I am comfortable. They have so much trust in the customer that they did not even want to sit with me in the car during the test drive.After the test drive (i soiled the car driving it in slush), i informed that the car was a bit huge for my liking and asked for something smaller. They had absolutely no grouse with it and genuinely tried to help me find the kind of car that I preferred. They also offered a fair price for the car that I had, for part exchange.Really, what more can you ask from a used car dealership? It is important that you get a car that you like and is even more important that you do business with good people, in my opinion..John and Emma are such lovely people and you need to visit them to see for yourself. I will strongly recommend Ormonde garage to anyone looking for a positive experience in parts exchange / used car purchase.CheersBarani
