We travel some distance to visit the bakery every fortnight. Their quality of goods is simply unparalleled. The bread would be at home in the Harrods food hall. They take pride in what they do. Their ingredients are clearly fresh and their recipes tested. Even their sweets are made on the premise. Their staff are always friendly and helpful. I believe they are feeding the entire village judging by the queues which are a testament to their passion and commitment to quality.

Love this place so much. Their Sandwiches are so fresh and tasty, egg mayo is deffo a fave! Their bread is always really fresh and their cakes are super delicious too! Would 100% recommend.

I have been using the bakery regularly since moving to the area (12 months) but went on on 3rd Jan and no staff front of house and waited a good 3/4 mins to be severed. Then I ordered a wholemeal loaf, a chicken sandwich and 3 small cakes and was charged £26.10. (That’s more and £5 an item). No prices displayed for the cakes and sandwich leaving unable to work out if it was correct. I enjoy supporting small local business but I also believe it should be value for money which I find yesterday it was not. It is a shame it has declined over the 12 months I have been using them.

Shame they’re not open Mondays and Tuesdays ( I always forget!). Great sourdough bread though, and lovely cakes. If you’re in Pangbourne, don’t pass this place by.
