I attended this Jobcentre Yesterday for an initial U Credit meeting . Very happy with the welcome from reception staff. During my experience here i was treated with dignity and respect. It can be a daunting task visiting for the first time but not in my case. Also , the staff where all efficient and generally a good sense of organisation in the Office.

Clean and helpful staff. With use of their computer to find work. However, there's no lift or help for visitors who find it hard to walk, never mind wheelchairs.

Its still a scary place to visit when you have security guards asking you to stand by the door to wait your turn which personally I don't mind but the arrogance of the guards is annoying especially when you know your waiting half an hour to see an advisor because trying on the phone takes an age also.

When you have an appointment for 11.40am to get told the person you are seeing is off and you get there 10 minutes early, to not be seen till 12.20pm is a joke no organisation at all.

I've just came to Birkenhead Jobcentre Plus to renew my JCP travel discount card and been told they can't do it as they don't have facilities today (Saturday 8th).To my understanding JCP is open and should be able to do such a simple task as it has been done in Everton.Does not gives me a good impression to trust them.
