Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
Edit: Kate has continued to run pilates classes on Zoom throughout the pandemic so far, and it's been fantastic. She's great at describing and demonstrating the exercises, and at providing corrections without calling anyone out. She's really available to talk about problems and answer questions, and is always upbeat and friendly. The classes have been a real life-line. Thank you Kate!I've been going to pilates at Physiolates for about nine months, and it's absolutely fantastic. The staff are really knowledgeable and helpful, and take great care to ensure that everyone is working at an appropriate level and doing all the exercises correctly and safely. Classes with Kate Hindley are a particular highlight. I didn't exercise much before I started, and my strength and energy levels have been greatly improved - to the extent that after a few months, I felt empowered to take up jogging, and now run 5 km three times a week! Worth every penny.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
This was my first time trying pilates and during my first class, Kate asked me my goals and if I have any particular pain or restrictions.For them being physio as well was one of the reason I chose this place along with various classes hours.So far I mainly had lessons with Kate and few times with Alicia which are both brilliants as they're also always checking if we have any pains.If I have particular needs or pains, Kate doesn't hesitate to adapt the class or give me some tips and any exercise I can do at home. I don't have back pains as I used to have and my posture especially while working improved.I would definitely recommend this place to people with any pilates level.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
My main hobby is running but I have suffered with a few injuries in recent years and so decided to improve my strength training alongside my running training. A physio recommended I started Pilates and so a few months ago I started one-to-one classes with Kate Hindley once a week at Physiolates.I've found Kate to be a really excellent, encouraging and knowledgeable teacher who listens to my specific injuries and niggles and tailors our sessions to suit. She pushes me on the exercises, working up gradually in intensity / fatigue, but only to a level which enables me to do the exercises with the correct form. Already I am feeling the benefits physically for running but also in my general life where I think about posture and how my body works a lot more.I also recently started attending Kate's virtual classes from my home so I now do one one-to-one and one virtual a week. These are also excellent and the way the sessions are structured allows you to work at a level which suits you personally.I'm looking forward to progressing further and am really happy with the service I get from Kate and Physiolates.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
Physiolates has been a life changer for me! I have attended weekly since 2016 when I had surgery on my back. Mostly I attend classes with Kate Hindley (who is just amazing at what she does!), but with other instructors too who are just as knowledgeable.Classes have taken me back to health and I can now run, play netball and lift weights without pain. Kate has also adapted classes for me throughout pregnancy and postpartum - I don't know what I'd do without her!If you're considering attending classes, don't put it off for any longer - just go!

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
I joined Pilates purely for fitness/toning and since the very first class i'm now addicted. Kate is a great, very professional instructor and guides each individual to make sure they are getting the most out of the class. I thoroughly enjoy the fact every class is different and does not feel repetitive like a lot of gym classes. I couldn't recommend enough.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
The Pilates team at Physiolates are great! I started attending the classes as a beginner and was put at ease straight away. The teaching is clear and concise making it easy for everyone to quickly pick up the basics and progress at their own pace. Since starting the classes I have noticed a difference in my core strength and control - it has also helped me manage the problems I was having with my lower back. Now a pilates addict I could not recommend the classes more - classes are varied and challenging at all levels and the instructors are so professional but also super friendly!

It’s been nearly 2 years I have been attending the classes following suffering from lower back pain due to sitting countless hours at my desk.Physiolates has been life-changing, great sessions, improving mobility, strengthening core muscles, generally keeping fit and reducing stress :)Kate is an excellent instructor, talks through the exercises in detail, offers mixed ability sessions, options to challenge ourselves. Exercises change from class to class so I never get bored.I particularly appreciate that Physiolates has kept the classes going via Zoom since restrictions were introduced. It has made a huge difference especially during times when many other activities are quite limited.Highly recommended!! Thanks Kate!!

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
Physiolates classes with Kate Hindley, have been brilliant! They have really helped to get me back on track after an injury. As Kate is also a trained physio I felt really confident in the class, as Kate helped me to work to the right level for my injury and corrected my position when it was wrong. The classes are varied each time, so you don't get bored of the routine and in each class there is the opportunity to do Pilates at which ever level you feel comfortable.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
Pilates with Kate has literally kept me going through lockdown! I started at the beginning in March and have only missed a couple of weeks since. I originally started to build strength after a long illness and it has certainly helped me do that! It works great on Zoom and Kate describes instructions for the positions, having not been to a class before in person I haven't found it's hindered me. Thanks for running them, it's really been great both mentally and physically.

Physiolates - Manchester Pilates
Kate's online Physiolates classes have helped keep me going, both physically and mentally, through a year of on-off lockdowns! I'd done pilates classes in person before (including Physiolates at the Liverpool site), and have found the at-home classes work very well. Kate talks through each exercise as well as demonstrating clearly on screen, and there's always a variety of options for different levels of experience / ability. Having had back problems in the past I've found pilates great for looking after my body better, and this is a great way to do it without having to leave the house.
