East Cliff House Gallery

Absolutely beautiful house with a great location nearby to many local walks and stunning countryside. Easy access to central London with station only a 30 second walk. made to feel very welcome and comfortable, me and my wife stayed for 2 nights, Sally is very warm and incredibly helpful with options for things to do on our getaway. also the HUGE english breakfast came with all local produce really putting a gloss on the whole weekend. will be coming back soon!!!

Stayed here Tuesday and Wednesday this week, lovely warm and accommodating, Sally was extremely helpful and a wonderful hostess, rooms exceptionally clean and relaxing. would visit anytime i'm in the area and i cannot recommend Eastcliff House and Sally highly enough. on Behalf of Lee Ryan.

Couldn't have been happier: wonderfully comfy bed, sparkling clean bathroom, and peace and quiet - not to mention a delicious breakfast the following morning cooked by Sally, our charming, twinkly-eyed hostess. We will be back!

Wonderful room and private bathroom, clean, spacious, warm, full of intriguing detail and terrific flourishes of style. Sally and Coco the Dog were tremendous hosts and ensured our stay was nothing less than magical.

Highly recommend - We stayed overnight as part of our Essex Way two-day walk. We had our own side entrance to the downstairs accommodation - nice for a B&B stay - with a beautifully decorated good sized bedroom, and own bathroom. We had breakfast al fresco in Sally's lovely cottage garden. Sally was the perfect host - we'd love to stay again. Joyce and Matthew.

This house and rooms are decorated to a very high standard and the host makes you feel right at home, breakfast was also fantastic.I would recommend this as a top place to stay if you are planning a trip to Mistley.

The place to be for the art to see. If you’re looking for somewhere that exhibits the best East Anglian artists in a gorgeous setting then East Cliff House is it! Owner and artist Sally Burch puts on the most wonderful exhibitions bringing together art, ceramics and more so keep an eye out for the next one and put the date in your diary. I love this place!

My husband and I stayed at East Cliff House for a couple of nights. What a little gem of a place! Lovely welcome from the host, Sally who talked to us about all things to see and visit in the beautiful surrounding areas. Sally's hospitality is second to none and her house is beautiful, full or her own art pieces and vintage things dotted around the house, some of them for sale. Sally cooked us full English breakfast each morning with extra little touches of fresh grapefruit, frothy hot milk for the coffee and more! If you want to discover this area, we cannot recommend this B&B highly enough, it has to be one of the best around. Thank you Sally, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our lively chats. Fantastic 3 nights here. Home from home with a bit of luxury too, in beautiful surroundings of Mistley. The house is beautiful, room attractively decorated and bathroom.. well that bath is fab! Sally was incredibly helpful, suggesting walking and cycling routes, places to visit and eat, accommodating dietary needs and generally going the extra mile for us. We both really enjoyed a peaceful get away punctuated by fantastic breakfasts, thank you!
