There are not many places like this left - after a pretty awful experience with VW this company went out of their way to help us, offering advise and knowledge that we did not have to fight a warranty issue with our campervan. Without Atkinsons a different outcome could have cost us an absolute fortune, so for that we are forever grateful!Additionally my husband and I have had various work done to our cars with them, they are honest, reliable, communicate well and the work is at a reasonable price.100% recommend them, THANK YOU & keep it up!

Charged £10 to check the issue and said head gasket gone, next day took it to a different garage, found the issue was with the thermostat, fixed in hour and driving the car fine now! Terrible!!!

Ordered new number plates from these guys. They were ready within 24hrs (even though I ordered them at 5pm) went to collect at 0830 the next day and they kindly fitted them, then and there for me. Superb service, very few family run garages around still. It’s clear why this one still is. Sally was incrediblyHelpful and we’ll Definitely use them for everything in the future. Thank you.

Fantastic service at an affordable and fair price. Not much more you could ask for. Recently had some work carried out on a car of mine here - all done on time and to a high standard. Great sense of personal pride in work and commitment to customers - very fortunate to have in the village. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Very expensive do not use. Went there to get my clutch done and they quoted me 1450 pounds for a mini cooper s. I went to another mechanic nearby. Went to Mr clutch in Chelmsford and was charged a very reasonable 400 pounds. If your a mechanic and don't want to do the job,just say you don't want to do it. Quoting silly prices is just rude.

Terrible customer service!!.. stroppy owner who hangs up the phone when anything is questioned!. Definitely would NOT recommend this garage at all.
