I went there today and ordered 11 coffee. I’ve asked the girl on the till if she prefers me take the list and out the order or she want me to say it. She wanted to see the list so I gave her the list. After she put everything and asked her 3 times to please make sure on of the coffee was auger free she said ok and then I asked again she’s said it’s not auger free. I asked 3 times to make sure all iced coffee are blended she refused to blend them. After she put the order from the list I gave her and I’ve paid I asked her if she’s done one of the coffees because it’s was complicated and she said no and i have to pay for it(after I’ve already paid for everything) I payed AGAIN. After I’ve asked if all 11 coffees are done they said yes so I counted and there was one missing(mine). So hats ok the man was very polite and helpful and made another one for me. I think whoever thatlady int he till was needs more training and take it a bit more seriously. I’ve worked in a restaurant that was with two hours waiting lists and got a lot more complicated orders than that.

Enjoyed lunch here on Saturday, breakfast Sunday morning, and frappes at the end of our weekend in Gloucester. Staff were friendly, service was good, and the food and drink was the usual Costa quality that we know and love. Thank you.

When visiting Gloucester this week I went in for a Hot Chocolate. The server 'Jay' didn't seem interested in cleaning up and helping his female colleague; he was more interested in talking to his mate in the coffee shop. When he served my hot chocolate to me it wasn't up to anywhere near the top of the glass like I've had in other Costas. I asked for it to be filled up more and he rolled his eyes like I was being a pain! His colleague said that's how they've been told to make it - more frothy on top (it had 2 inches of froth at the top). Well I don't get that at the other Costas.The shop itself was very dirty looking, it needed a good clean, the seats were minging and there were tables that needed clearing, there were only a few tables occupied in the shop so it wasn't busy - the staff had chance to clear away, but hadn't bothered. At one table with comfy seats It looked like someone had left their drink and gone to the toilet, but after a while we realised the food and drinks hadn't been cleared and tidied. If it had been cleared up someone could've sat there.It was so grubby looking I wouldn't return and the man serving would put us off going again too. The worst Costa I've visited.

Worst Costa ever been in. service slow coffee was awful. floor looks like could do with a good brush, tables not been cleaned. toilets need a good cleaning, toilet needs cleaning really dirty and floor dirty and no loo roll.I would never use here again felt not welcoming at all

I guess this is the typical Costa with all the things that you expect to receive and get. I have visited it may times and they always seem very busy - so busy that I have often turned away from it and gone somewhere else because the wait was just too much.Whilst things can be busy I do believe that possibly more efficient and faster service could improve things.

Great cappuccino with a little extra chocolate and almond croissant. Staff amazing and attentive, will definitely return.
