Awful company to deal with. I called to cancel my contract which was actioned. Plusnet continued to charge me without my knowledge, I only found out when I received a debt collection letter.I disputed the account vis resolver, plusnet do not communicate via resolver but do not tell you this, they failed to change my email address, sent text messages to an unused sim card.....communications company??I would recommend 1p mobile. 1p mobile also use the EE network and offer more services for a similar cost.Do yourself a favour and avoid this company.

Avoid at all costs. Disconnected my landline and broadband by “mistake”. Landline is gone forever and broadband off for at least 10 working days. Mark who is most senior complaint handler was appalling and really upset me with his brutal comments. Someone would should not deal with the public.

Don't phone them up to renew or get a new contract without first looking up the best online deal from a price comparison website. Otherwise the salesperson will go down on price and make you think you've got a good discount, but actually you're paying way too much.I recently renewed an 18 month contract for broadband and phone and the best deal I could negotiate was £33.95 per month down from £39.95 normal price. A couple of weeks later a relative managed to get a similar package for £21.95 per month. The only difference is that weekday daytime calls are not included in theirs.I phoned and asked if I could have a better price as a relative has got a similar package for £12 per month less. The salesperson wouldn't do anything. I asked to speak to the supervisor but he wouldn't pass me over. I'm locked into the contract and it will cost upwards of £200 to exit.I asked why when two people asked for the very best price, one was offered a much better deal than the other. They could not give an acceptable answer to this. They said they can only deal with my account and not someone else's, that prices change (in two weeks?) and that I agreed to that price at the time.I suggest you check on a price comparison site and research the best deal in advance. Only call them when you have this information to hand. If they won't match it, refuse their offer and say its too high until you're about to put the phone down. When you try to negotiate normally they're not giving the best price, so you have to force it from them.

We have been with PlusNet for many years. Biggest plus is being able to talk to a human being if I have a problem. Even more so now I am 78.Excellent customer service today from Sheffield. One query sorted by Billing who then passed me to a Tech agent who sorted that issue. The first agent also called me back when somehow I cut him off. Most firms never, ever do that. He tried my landline, and my mobile twice. Yes occasionally we experience a problem, but we have always had things sorted - even weird unusual issues due to how the internet itself works rather than ISP at fault which took time.

Horrible service. Kept giving nonsensical reason for slow Internet speed like copper wire instead of fibreoptics in the area. My phone network give 2× speed than their broadband and shifted to O2 which gives me 20× speed.To future customers- read the contract thoroughly, please. They put in a clause of minimum guaranteed speed of 2mbs (a joke in 2023) and no guaranteed upload speed (which never went above 0.8mbs) and insisted for contracted breaking fees.Imagine my frustration that I am more than happy to pay the fees just to get rid of them.

Avoid !!! I ordered four sim cards for our family mobiles wanting to stay on the EE network due to signal at home. For over a week now PlusNet has been unable to port across our numbers. I have spoken to them three times and started an email complaint but all they can say is they will try again. I've had the pac codes but now the number I have had for over 20 years is lost in the ether. I can't use my phone as an MFA device as I can't get text messages and my number is on my email footers and business cards. The complaint I have raised will be answered in another week!! The best I can say is they are polite but the actual service is p poor.Update; my number was lost for just over a week. My previous supplier couldn't revert as they had passed the number. I am uping to two stars as the contact who dealt with it was good although pretty powerless. She did a good job in a bad situation. I am now switching away.

Woeful. Absolutely woeful. Avoid Sheffield. Avoid contact with these people. Basically immature Sheffield idiots, drop outs and low skilled people eating crisps and playing snooker and not doing what they suppose to. Make up the processes, make up stories make up prices. The worst out of the lot. Belittle customers. Say nothing they can do unless money is involved. Awful recruitment process. One sales rep today told me a process but she made up that process to get me off the phone. Hahahahahaha. Dreadful dreadful dreadful. Has to be the worst broadband also. Look at the reviews. Avoid this place. Be valued for your time and money. Or don’t just ignore me decide for yourself.
