Really interesting pier. Tha5s the Wakerley, the last paddle steam boat in the world. Each boat is fascinating and facilities and structure of pier is great. We'll worth a visit

Really nice pier with a great view on the city and the city, it's really nice to walk there. The pier is long and large, so there can be many people, you will still be able to take some nice pictures

Lovely pier to have a look of sea and its beauty. We have taken a boat for jurassic coast and old harry rocks. This is a must ride if you really want to explore the coast with different perspective. Beautiful pier with a dive shop. We had a ice-cream their to enjoy the view while watching the beautiful sea in a sunny day.

Lovely views across the harbour and back to the town. You pay £2 to access the pier, and I was able to use my mobility scooter for almost the entire length. It's just the very end where you have to climb about 9 steps (either up or down) if you want to go further. I was told there was a photograph display if you go down, but I didn't do that. I went up and enjoyed the views from the very end instead.I really enjoyed reading some of the brass plaques screwed to the boards. There are so many of them! A real history of the area and its people.Stopped for a coffee on the way back and met some very tame sparrows looking for last-minute scraps before their autumn flight. A good use of my time, and my £2, I feel!

A interesting spot near the start of the costal walk from Swanage. Stopped here for a quick refreshment break as there are benches and places to rest. There are a few information boards and also a little museum/exhibit. Unfortunately I did not have time to check these out on this occasion. You can walk around the base of the lookout station and get close to the cliff edges. There is also a toilet close to here.

Well organized place - good to look at the sea and for diving. There is a dive shop with a bar where you can look at the findings from the ship wreck and eat lovely ice cream. Also recommend the café.You need to arrive very early if you want to park on the pier.

A lovely well maintained pier with friendly staff. There is a cafe part way down towards the pier. On the actual pier there are a lot of benches and brass plaques set into the boards of the pier to commemorate people's birthdays and to remember people who have passed. It's nice to read these plaques. Some are funny and some are sad and there are a lot of them.It was £2 per adult to get onto the pier and a bit extra for crabbing/fishing with a rod.
