Summers Lane Reuse and Recycling Centre

Site was well organised and tidy. Martin was an absolute gentleman and helped me unload a whole boot load of wood (which would have taken me ages to unload) Thank you ever so much!

Very well organised, and easy to dispose of a variety of items. The process is very efficient and easy to follow. Helpful and friendly staff.

They are very fair employees. Even during the covid period, taking into account all the rules, with fair customer reception, a kind attitude. I wish all waste collection sites were like this. Best regards, Janos

Went to the centre today. I have a hidden disability, so don't look disabled but have a spinal tumor. I approached one of the workers and just said I was disabled, I had proof but he didn't want to see it. Couldn't have been more helpful and also refused money I offered him as a thank-you. Lovely polite young guy, just wish I'd got hisname

This is a public waste and recycling centre for household refuse. If you are a tradesmen you will have to obtain permission, and I believe there is a fee to dispose of Trade waste.(Unfortunately there are a huge number of builders and other tradesmen that don't give a monkey's about where the waste from your house goes, who would flytip it in an instant, because they don't care about messing up quiet little side streets or country lanes).Literally the lowest of the low.This place is very strict about parking on site and what and where you dispose of. But, they take everything. Fridges and freezers, old TVs, even old car tyres which I think is great!

Great recycling centre. Convenient as you drop waste down rather than have to climb up steps to through it in containers.

This place has become absolutely terrible since they removed the need to book a slot. You now have to wait in line for 20-40mins on weekends (and even sometimes on weekdays) and half the time 80% of the parking spaces are closed for some reason, creating even longer queues.

This is a very useful and convenient place for recycling all sort of items from electrical devices to batteries, clothes and household items from big to small!I have visited a couple of times and staff have been helpful professional and friendly.Let’s keep recycling for the good of our environment.
