Kwik Fit

Went for a MOT, on arrival the gentleman said it would be ready in an hour came back an hour later and it was ready! Fast service, friendly and knowledgeable staff.I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

I've been to this Kwik Fit a few times and consistently have mixed or disappointing experiences. These range from being quoted for unnecessary works, having auto problems that I've pointed out either ignored or not taken seriously, and a lack of communication from the staff. The wait times are generally quite long, although they are honest about the wait times and do their best to get people in and out as quickly as possible, which I appreciate. This makes me wonder if they have a problem with poor staffing or overbooking. I really feel for the team because I think they are doing their best, but I do feel like they could use some customer service or unconscious bias training, or at least be given the resources to hire more staff.

The technician was working alone and was answering calls, dealing with other customers ‘front of house’ and clearly repairing other vehicles. Despite a wait time of 2 hrs we returned earlier and he was already checking our tyres. He then needed additional time to replace them. We returned later and all was done. He was efficient, amenable and accommodating!

Good free advice when walked in, not pushy and allowed me space and time to decide. Also gave options and ideas on how to save between options. During installation, everything spot on, quick and all done on time.

I booked through the website to secure a slot. When i arrived, after waiting 15 mins past my allotted time slot, i was informed by the person on duty that his colleague was about to go on lunch and i would have to leave the vehicle with him and he will get the new tyres fitted when he could. I asked how long as i needed the car that afternoon, to which he asked me when the latest time i needed it by. I told him and he said 'not a chance'. I ended up having to re-book in for the next working day. Luckily, the team on duty on Monday was brilliant and the work was carried out on-time.My point is, if weekend staff are not capable to carry out appointments at certain times due to staff breaks, capacity due to lower staffing levels etc. then the slots should not be available to customers.

Honest advice and good work. Some unnecessary works previously quoted were taken out of the list after a more careful inspection of the car. The communication was clear and honest. Good guys you can trust.

The issue that I have was that we booked in advance because it was looking to be a bit of a busy day. We had a 12:00 appt and turned up at exactly 12 on the dot only to be told they were running behind schedule and that it was going to be a 2 hour wait. I had to go to my afternoon rehearsal for an evening concert a whole hour late. Luckily it was a meal time so was able to go to a pub and have some lunch, but feel really sorry for people that had perhaps not planned this over a mealtime. Kwik fit in Fareham have been ok in the past so I wasn't prepared to this - to be clear, this is not a complaint about the member of staff who served us who was extremely apologetic and was obviously quite run off his feet. I just think you need to look into your system and make the waiting times a lot shorter and perhaps bring in more staff (have a backlog for the weekends that you can contact?)

Kwik Fit Garage in Wimbledon was nothing short of disappointing and a waste of time!. The lackluster service and unprofessional behavior I encountered left me thoroughly frustrated. No attendance at the reception either!Upon arriving at the garage, I was shocked by the complete absence of any initial communication from the worker assigned to assist me. It was as if I didn't exist. I had to actively seek out his attention to inform him that I had a booking. This lack of basic social skills and courtesy was a red flag from the start.Once I managed to get his attention, I was informed that I would have to wait an additional two hours before my vehicle could be attended to. This was after I had already made a booking and taken the time to come to the garage. The worker's inability to communicate this beforehand and the lengthy wait time only added to my frustration.What was supposed to be a one off visit turned into a test of my patience and endurance. The worker's lack of communication skills and disregard for customer service was evident throughout the entire experience. The waiting area was disorganised and uncomfortable, and it seemed like the staff were more interested in working without any social contact or customer service.In conclusion, my encounter with the Kwik Fit Garage in Wimbledon was incredibly disappointing. The worker's poor social skills, lack of communication, and inability to manage the situation professionally made this visit one to remember for all the wrong reasons.I would caution anyone considering using this garage to think twice before subjecting themselves to such an ordeal. This place is a joke !

The car has given engine warning light due to excess oil filling. Please call me back to correct this error.I was also not explained if the car had any issue. Although I asked I was only told invoice will have full explanation which did not happen.

Shame for this branch. The level of ignorance and rudeness at the reception is astounding. It can easily happen that they hang up on you on the phone or they wrongly input your data and then to do not honour your appointment.
