What a great find. Just dropped in at there whilst walking in the area. Beautiful setting. Food and service were excellent. My sea bass was cooked to perfection and presented perfectly.

Visited today for lunch our starters were arancini balls with black pudding also leek and potato soup both amazing the soup was really delicious. The sage chicken with mash was complemented perfectly with the most delicious cabbage it's only cabbage I know but this was amazing! Dessert sticky toffee pudding also butterscotch parfait. I will definitely visit again this is not average pub food this is truly talented cooking I can't wait to come back. Service was spot on.

Absolutely delicious food! We had a wonderful late lunch here today. The chef was really understanding and accommodated my dairy intolerance really well. Would definitely return! Thank you!

We had Sunday dinner here last week, I forgot how nice their food is. The beef dinner was really nice and very tasty. We didn't have starters but had a desert and the biscoff brownie was nice too. The service was impeccable and the waiting staff was very polite helpful and welcoming. I had a pint of Guinness which was perfect. After dinner we had a stroll up the lane to the little kids play area which was a nice end to our trip here. Definitely going back soon, it's worth a visit. 10/10.

Really friendly, and attentive service. Relaxing, comfortable environment. Dog friendly. The food was excellent, and is quite affordable if you select from the set menu. I really recommend this pub and will definitely go again.

Had a meal recently with the family. The food was reasonable but over priced. For example a child’s pasta was £9 (way overpriced for a children’s pasta) and mains into the mid £18-£25 region. The pub has now been taken over by the Robinsons brewery and is no longer a freehouse pub. Would I go back. I think there’s better priced options in the local area for food.

This is a fine pub restaurant tucked away in Mill Brow. We had the sampler menu. Three courses at a very reasonable £20. There was a slightly limited choice of 3 dishes with only one vegetarian option but the quality of the dishes was impressive.

One of my favourite foodie pubs. The chef is super talented and everything is so flavourful. Also a great vibe and friendly staff. Gorgeous location too

Stopped in for a pint in the sun while walking nearby. Lovely spot on Mill Brow. There are a couple of benches out the front overlooking the peaceful greenery. We sat on the picnic tables they have to the side — it's more of a yard/disused car park than a beer garden per se but it's a beautiful sun trap. Looks like they might make more of it in the summer. Interior looked nice and popular for a Sunday roast; would probably come back to try the food sometime. Lovely if you're in the area.
