Poor poor service! Decided to shop local rather than going to a chain.Terrible service from the lady mentioned in other reviews, way to ruin your business!Ham salad sandwich - one slice of ham, one piece of stale lettuce, and four slices of cucumber. Nothing else. No salad cream or Mayo.Cornflake bun, definitely not fresh. It was stale and old.Also purchased 3 other buns for family which I don’t hold much hope for.This came to just shy of £10, so it was expensive I think for what was received, miserable service. And no Thankyou or have a nice day. Why on earth work in a local shop if you don’t want to be polite to customers.If you want this business to remain open, replace her with a friendly member of staff.If you want a tasty sandwich - don’t bother!Will be avoiding in future!

Awful. Most miserable old woman serving desperately needs a course in cusomer service. Maybe she got out of the wrong side of the bed today. I have frequented many sandwich shops and they are all streets ahead of this one. To top it off even the food was poor.

The two members of staff here could not be more different. A lovely blonde lady yesterday made my sandwich with freshly cut salad and mayo as I don't like Salad cream. She had to go into the back to get the mayo as it's kept in the fridge. Same sandwich request today for steely haired, miserable server made with minimal salad (no onions as none cut!) and to be advised that they don't do mayo!If you don't want to serve customers - get a different job!

Best bread in Chesterfield .

Russian slabs were devine. Been today, got one home and it was awful. Was a fine sliver of russian slab between two slices of plain sponge, that looked, and tasted like dried bread. Even the birds wont touch it.

Brilliant selection of cakes! Had a cornflake tart and cookie sandwich with buttercream in the middle. Will definitely be back soon

Traditional bakery products - custard tart and custard slice are my favourites! Also freshly prepared rolls reasonably priced and delicious.
