Not used Craig for a long time since we stopped the rallying and chucked working on motors. But now I have the dreaded m32 gearbox in my van I knew at 60,000 miles it was near it's time for a refurb. Craig says it was just in Nick of time. Great job on gearbox and will be referring Gilmours to the boys on the forum page. Was repaired quickly as need van back on road.Thanks again Craig always a pleasure.

Was having some issues with my accord type r engine when getting warm, coolant was bubbly and overheating, took the head off and gave Craig a phone, once the head was with him he told me exactly what was wrong with it due to experience.The car has since been rebuilt after Craig skimmed the head and traveled around Europe, VERY happy with Craig’s work and will return.

Took my head down to Craig as I had exaust gasses going into my coolant. Head looked OK as did the gasket. Craig took a skim off to reveal some pitting where the suspected gap was. He also kept me fully updated with e mail photos of progress and his findings. Personally I don't think anywhere would give you this degree of input during a job !. And to top it off i had the head back the next day. If you are in any doubt he is most definitely the engineer to help you with a friendly no jargon explanation also gave me further advice on re fitting. I would recommend Craig to anybody for peice of mind work and also an unbelievable price in comparison compared to the rest. So if you want good honest work done without the mystery of how and what was done Craig is your choice without a doubt nothing is any trouble to him 5 stars is not enough im my opinionTop guy !!!

Firstly, Craig is such a nice and genuine guy. Secondly, Craigs craftsmanship is second to none. You couldn't ask for a better man to do all manor of intricate machining jobs. A pleasure, I'll certainly be back with the next project!

I can't speak highly enough of Craig, made to feel very welcome from the get go. One of the things I really appreciate is his transparency, every part of the job (both the good and the bad) is explained to you fully, no hidden surprises here. Willing to go the extra mile without any fuss. Treats the jobs like it was his own project with great attention to detail.

Had Craig skim my Mini R52 cylinder head and flywheel, really pleasant guy to deal with, very knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft, for me the job was not in a hurry as its a project i am working on, but Craig had them ready the next day also had progress videos of work done and photos, refreshingly honest tradesman, will definatly use Craigs services in the future, highly recommended.George

Support local honest businesses and call Craig. Friendly, professional and a good laugh too! Craig was reassuring on the phone and it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. He suggested I brought my V8 heads in for a look first before booking anything. It turns out my heads are beyond repair, but I really appreciate that Craig was honest about it and took the time to thoroughly check them rather than just skimming them anyway. Fantastic service.

Called on the services of Craig once again, he re-machined a set of BMW M5 brake discs for us, and the job is superb. All the best Craig, and keep up the good work. From Tom and all the staff at EGS Automotive.

Craig is a great guy, explained issues I was having with a motorcycle wheel and as soon as I arrived he had a look. He was able to helicoil and ensure all threads were in perfect working order whilst I waited. Really isn't a lot of workshops like this anymore. I would highly recommend Craig for any engineering work or queries and will not hesitate to use again. True gentleman, thanks!
