City Apartments - Sycamore Place
Boiler only heats a third of a bath, loose floorboards, mould on walls. Toilet cistern has a huge crack wrapping around it. Walls are incredibly thin, and site is unattended, meaning frequently disruptive guests act as they please without intervention. On-site laundry is caked in enough mold to give you a headache. The on-site car park is a jungle and paid, designated parking spaces are let out to other gusts seemingly at random, blocking access. Atrocious management has utterly failed to remedy or even respond to these complaints. Entertainingly, a five-star review appears to have been left by the building manager's dog. Avoid at all costs.

Locate at the corner. Did not aware the building at first and had to border the neighbors to find it. Fortunately, the neighbor is so nice. To avoid bordering others, please take special note about the location, especially you arrive late like us. A very special thank to the nice neighbor. Thank you!!!

City Apartments - Sycamore Place
The Apartment is good for few days to week stay. It’s located just adjacent to city center which is accessible to all amenities nearby. I wouldn’t recommend for a month stay since they don’t offer Washing dryer in the apartment and also no room service for those who stay for long duration. If we have to wash our clothes, we have to insert coin to get the service. The nightly cost comes around £44.6 which may vary depending on the type and size of room you choose.

Excellent. Not too close but not too far (10 minute walk) to York City centre. Apartment was clean and fresh with excellent security. Parking was a plus. A quiet location but you will hear trains! They are not 24/7 but start early.Usual facilities available but remember, you will be self catering... all equipment required is available.My wife and I will definitely be booking again.

A lovely room, great location, only let down by a somewhat dated bathroom suite that would benefit from some TLC to bring it in line with the quality of the room itself. Our bathroom could've benefited from treatment to the mould on the sealant and non tiled walls.Don't let this put you off, but lower your expectations of the overall apartment based on the pictures of the room itself.

Lived here for 3 years as a private let.Good building management and great location. Management were responsive and got my whole deposit back which is always a bonus.Private parking was rare for the area so was an added benefit. Close to York shopping and bars but still a nice quiet area.
