Turnbulls have done a lot of work for us in the last two years, recovering and adding extra seats to a couple of vans, reversing cameras, roof rails. The team are really friendly and efficient, and have always been willing to work to unique specifications.Would recommend them very highly.

Great work from the boys at AI. Turned my van around in 4 days and nothing was ever too much effort. Definitely worth a visit for anything camper van related. Top job ✅

Update to this.I had a problem with my roof. Manufacturer issue. Ian and Ash have moved heaven and earth to get it right for me. They are awesome.Simply the best service you could ask for. Honest pricing up front and a personal touch.Everybody I have dealt with has been helpful and patient.The attention to detail is incredible with a real pride in their work.I had an austops roof fitted as well as some other work. It is the best fitted roof I have seen. Turnbulls even make their own bed for it so it is reinforced. Their electrical system is pure luxury and it is an integral part of the van now.I will definitely be going back.Ps. I've noticed some really negative reviews on here. When I look more closely the users seem to only have 1 action on their accounts. One has to wonder whether the reviewers are real or just competitors!

Been here a couple of times and both times we've either been completely ignored or spoken to like rubbish.They wouldn't know customer service if Mary Portas slapped them across the face like the old Tango big hand adverts used to

TERRIBLE!!!!!I went to Turnbulls to have a new head unit, reversing camera fitted. I spoke to them at length on the phone about my requirements and after visiting their premises, booked the car in to have the work done.On the morning I arrived, I noticed that the display model of the unit I was having fitted was no longer in the showroom. I realised that the assistant I was dealing with had clocked I had seen the gaping hole and before I said anything, I was told that there had been a problem with it and it had been sent back to the manufacturer. Naively I didn't think anymore about it.Later that day I went back to pick up the car, was run through the features of the unit and I drove away a happy customer.However the following day while playing with the unit I came across a screen in the satellite navigation system that informed me the unit had been running for over 650+ hours... clearly not the brand new unit that Turnbulls had led me to believe I was paying for.I phoned Turnbulls and said that I was happy with the unit and facetiously how they appeared to have accidentally installed their demo. This was met with a barrage of denials right up to the point where I asked why, if it was a brand new unit, was there 650+ hours on it. This was initially met with silence followed by a raft of pathetic excuses. At first I was happy to have the unit replaced for a new one however for some reason, Turnbulls were reticent to do this and instead set about trying to persuade me to take an additional warranty (their own, worth nothing if they went bust) and wouldn?t even offer a discount on the speakers I was about to have fitted too. Eventually after some more chat, they agreed a bit of money off the speakers and an extended (worthless) warranty was in order. Either way, this all started to ring alarm bells and I got the distinct impression they were trying to save their own skins rather than put right their deception.At this point I decided I'd had enough. I told them I wanted the entire system removed and the car returned to its original state, at their cost. Again, I got flannel and excuses from the assistant and only after threatening to get my lawyer involved did they agree to it. I also asked to speak to the Company Director but was told he was unavailable.The car was returned the following day and the old unit put back in. Money was returned to my accoun and I went straight to their competition who did a wonderful job at fitting exactly what I wanted, didn't lie to me or try to treat me like an idiot.Just a side note, after examining the car post-Turnbulls I can say the level of workmanship was found to be lacking. They left marks on most of the internal panels they had removed to fit the system, clearly using metal screwdrivers rather than proper panel levers. I know that the marks were not there before it went to them.Personally, I would avoid Turnbulls. A company that was happy to try and deceive a customer and treat them like an idiot. These guys did a superb job on our campervan, turning it from a glorified taxi into a glorious machine. Too late this year (and in Covid) to take it camping but looking forward to enjoying it in 2021. Many thanks to Ian and the team, super professional throughout and able to offer advice on styling without ever being pushy. Thank You.

Ive just had a new Dash Cam (DR900x plus 2 channel) fitted by Turnbulls. This is the 3rd Dash Cam fitted by them and the service and dedication to get it fitted to my instructions had not let me down. They always do a fantastic job. I have an expensive car, so care is a must for me. Again Turnbulls have never let me down. That is why I will always use Turnbulls for any of my new Dash Cams. Whilst there I noticed some VW camper-vans being created. Wow, they looked fantastic. Top quality. When I took a closer look I did notice their Attention to Detail. They are indeed top professionals.

We have recently had a VW T6 van converted by AI Campers and we couldn’t be happier! From the very start of the process to the end, both Ian and Ash have been amazing - listening and gently guiding us, to end up with our dream van. Nothing was ever a problem and the professional attitude and workmanship of these two guys and their team is first class. Ian and the team did a fantastic job on my camper conversion. It was a budget job and they priced it up in chunks for me so i could have the work done in stages. Felt as though they treated me the same as if it was a 30k conversion! I will definitely be back. Thanks
