AVOID AVOID AVOID. I purchased a Shogun from TVB in early February 2023. I had the vehicle delivered to my home in the south west, admittedly didn’t get the vehicle checked on delivery but had an inspection a few days later. On inspection, it was found that the EGR was faulty, the DPF was in a very bad condition, one of the breather pipes wasn’t connected and the other had been welded on as opposed to being bolted on, badly repaired welds evident, clearly and badly bodged at some point and was no longer fit for purpose, the rear exhaust section needed replacing as it was blowing.I was advised that when I bought the vehicle that it had warranty and if anything went wrong that they’d replace or fix the part. I rang the warranty company and was shocked when I was told the warranty was only to the value of £500 and that the parts needed weren’t even part of the warranty anyway.I contacted the company, Mr Ali, who initially was quite polite, this didn’t last unfortunately.I told him of the issues that I was concerned with and gave him prices I’d researched to replace the damaged ones. Mr Ali told me that the prices I’d provided were totally unreasonable, and that the aftermarket parts he would supply were much cheaper, they were, but are unreliable and of a cheap construction.I spoke with Trading Standards and informed them of the array of issues, they are currently investigating apparently.I paid for an inspection by ACE ( Automotive Consultant Engineers) who provide a comprehensive report in case of court proceedings. The report showed EGR issues, a faulty DPF in a very poor state, as the vehicle was grossly under-powered.I contacted Mr Ali with the findings, who offered to buy the vehicle back rather than replace the parts, I had invested financially into the vehicle at that stage so was unwilling to sell back, also the overview of the vehicle is that it was in quite good condition. After many emails back and forth I decided to carry out and pay for the repairs myself as Mr Ali wasn’t going to help me out.To date, I have spent in excess of £2,500 on parts and labour, more to come with a new fuel tank breather pipe as the original is totally missing, this will be another £500 parts and labour. In summary———————BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE if you purchase a vehicle from TYNE VEHICLE BUYER/AMS AUTO TRADE, NEWCASTLE.I can say with honesty that I wish I’d never traded (or trusted) with this company, it has been a very stressful time, exacerbated my medical condition as a result and also cost me a small fortune. The company tell that a warranty is in place should things go wrong, giving you peace of mind that actually doesn’t in the end, the warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on so don’t be fooled.I feel very let down by the extremely poor service Mr Ali has shown, I will NEVER use this company again and would urge potential buyers to go elsewhere. My address was taken down incorrectly for DVLA W for the V5 which cost me a further £25 to get a duplicate and they wouldn’t even re- fund me that. This review is a true representation of what occurred despite what Mr Ali will counter with, ask yourself this, Is it worth the risk buying from this company? If you are unfortunate enough to buy a used vehicle form this company please make sure you get a full inspection prior to parting with your cash.Amen.

Sold be a dud car nearly a year ago which I was told in November I'm better off getting rid of. Very disappointed.Reply - was driving along motorway when car started jolting and haven't been on a motorway since. the car has jolted several times when approaching 60km so I can't go on motorways or far. a mechanics has looked at it and said that the engine is going and would cost more to fix than car is worth. i didn't think to bring it in as this was passed the warranty I was given.

Bought a nissan qashqai 2 months ago, cruise control doesn't work, took back twice, was loaned a 2007 Ford for the day with a clutch that wouldn't disengage, almost causing an accident. The qashqai has been back twice to be looked at, but nothing has been fixed, now says they will phone me next day to arrange for car to go back in again to be looked at by an auto electrician, but they never phone me back. Will not use them again and would advise people who buy from them to check everything works as it should, and hope you don't get a fault, as they just just fob you off!

AVOID THIS COMPANY. COWBOYS.I was interested in a car at Tyne Vehicle Buyer, was urged on the phone to put down a £100 fully refundable" deposit before seeing it. Drove up to Newcastle to view the car and found that there was a lot of issues with it. It was scratched up

Got a 2011 twingo from here 5 months ago, I've left it a while to give an honest reveiw as so many people put them on and haven't even had a car 5 minutes.I'm not great with names but think it was ray who helped with the car, test drove the car and liked it, we sorted finance out with him which was easy and got a good rate.I was informed that the car would be M.O.T'd with any advisories put right for hopefully a years trouble free motoring(this was offered to me not asked for so they could get a sale), I picked it up at the the arranged time they'd done some work which could save me several hundreds of pounds new disk and pads, tyres and an issue with the handbrake. The car has been amazing since day 1, it's never missed a beat, starts and drives lovely and everything works as it should. To summarise I feel I've good a very go car from a dealer that values their customers and trade, a business to succeed needs return customers and I'll certainly be back for my next car, from first going to look at the car to picking it up everything has been easy and a pleasure, they didn't do any hard sale tactics and they give good realistic time scales for getting the car sorted for me, they said 7 days but I actually got it in 3 days. The only thing I can fault them on which isn't really one is the car was valeted but wasn't quite up to my standard, it was presentable but I'm abit picky had a few marks and ground in dirt in hard to clean places like buttons, seat rails and a couple of marks on the head lining, I've since cleaned this but I'd like to make this clear that this was me being very picky.Great buying experience, thankyou and keep up the good work guys.
