Thank you Island Garage for your amazing service! I took my car to a different garage for a quote on a new exhaust for a Honda Civic TypeR and was told it was a main dealer part that also needed a new CAT (£960) as it was welded to the exhaust.Neither were even true!Island Garage’s honesty saved me over £2500 (maybe more). They even fit new pads and discs - the total price was a fraction of my first quote and they’ve literally saved me from having to get rid of my car - and I love my car!I love it even more now I’ve found a garage that I can actually trust to do genuine repairs.THANK YOU ALL AT ISLAND GARAGE - especially Aaron - who couldn’t have been anymore helpful.

Went to buy a 350z. Was told it had body work issues which i agreed was no issue for me. However was told was mechanically sound. When taking it for a test drive it was pulling on the nearside and I was having to fight the steering wheel. When I mentioned it nothing was said about it. So I decided not to buy considering that if that wasn't right what else could be wrong. While the owner has said I didn't make a pre appointment. He was aware with plenty of notice that I was coming on that day and I'd aimed for morning time. However traffic held me back and I arrived during open hours but the owner had to go to the gym. I then waited around for a test drive of this car. He claims the left wheel was low on air. But the steering rack had some play. As a mechanic myself I'm aware that low air wouldn't cause this type of pull. It was wandering on all roads but extreme on country roads. I was umming and arring about buying it and correcting the issue by replacing the steering rack. However when I spoke to my friend (also a mechanic) we decided to walk away, as we were unsure if the pull to the left was solely down to rack issues or chassis/subframe damage.

Fixed the shock and a few other issues on an old L200 today! Despite confusion caused between the dealership (not the island garage) and an admittedly long wait due to the fact (14:00 turned into nearly 18:00), it worked out.They offered teas and coffees etc. And kept us updated. The old thing is going MUCH smoother and lighter now! As it should have been!Thanks!

Our first experience at this garage has been very good. Brilliant service and extremely efficient diagnosis of the problem. Also had a service and MOT, nice touch with the free wash, car has never looked so clean ! Definitely will be back, thankyou.

Friendly and professional service that helped my partner choose her MX-5.Took the time to take us out on two test drives and put on a 12 month warranty as well as taking the time to explain where everything was after the purchase.Highly recommend and we will back should we want another MX-5.

Went in for a central locking g problem on my Jeep after 3 visits and £400. Still not fully resolved. They refuse to.look at it again unless I pay more money.Their argument was it was only the boot and drivers door they checked.My argument is it was a CENTRAL locking problem. To me central locking is just that locks and unlocks all doors!

New clutch fitted today on my VolvoExcellent service really friendly and knowledgeable guys they even beat the quotes from the other garages.This might be my go-to placeCheers guys.

Genuinely made me day.I've owned my R3 now for nearly 5 years and this is the first garage I've felt confident taking it to and I was right!Firstly cars on the forecourt are amazing. The temptation to purchase is so strong and the team there are nothing short of amazing. Service is top tier!They even took the time to show me some horrendous work that I had previously done at a chain business! just to be honest and let me know.I'll be having additional work now done on my 8 and I know 100% where I'm going for each service and MOTAbsolutely rate these guys.
