The Mountain Girl

I've had several different experiences of working with Anna - Scouts, DofE, school workshops and hikes in Malvern and Snowdon. Every time she pitches it just right and is an inspiration to all. Totally professional on all levels

Completed the triple peaks with Anna on the 15th August. I had no idea what I had let myself into, Anna was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, she explained how to navigate tricky areas and made sure everyone in the group was safe.

Our Scouts had a fantastic zoom session with Anna, for the 3 Star Navigators Award. The session was delivered at a pace that was just right for our Scouts and they were very focused on working out the tasks! It was a great way to cover off basic navigation skills and we are looking forward to going out and practising in the great outdoors :)

Anna has led our Scouts on many adventures including the mountains of North Wales. She has always led these expeditions with great professionalism and care for the Young People.

I am a Year 6 teacher at a Primary School and have just completed a 24 hour survival experience with 60 children arranged with Mountain Girl. It was amazing!!!! The children were given an experience that they will certainly never forget learning the priorities of survival in a practical and engaging way. The agenda included fire lighting, shelter building, paracord bracelets, night navigation, pacings, eatingbugs and more !!! As a teacher, it was so rewarding to watch the children push themselves, often outside of their comfort zones, and share their sense of pride and achievement. Anna is an amazing ambassador for the outdoor industry. She is a very experienced and knowledgeable Mountain Leader, Scout Leader and Bear Grylls Survival Instructor as well as an Ordnance Survey Ambassador - to top it all she’s a very friendly and positive person. I cannot think of anyone else that I would want leading me on a Mountain or Survival Adventure

We appointed Anna to join us and run an introduction to survival workshop on our Academy charity event. Anna reacted quickly to our requests including the details we required. The course was delivered beautifully on the day and the only complaint we received was that it finished too soon, we will definitely be working with Anna again in the near future. Absolutely fantastic experience doing the Bronze NNAS course with Mountain Girl. The course was well organised and hands on - even the theory! The course leader, Anna, was engaging, patient and her passion for the outdoors was infectious. I would 100% recommend choosing Mountain Girl and look forward to signing up to more events in the future.

Well what can I say!! what a fantastic experience from start to finish.Anna led a big group of us around some mountains in Snowdon and she was truly amazing and inspiring.There wasn't a single moment where anyone felt uneasy or unsafe. She bossed it from start to finish and had back up plans for every eventuality.She had a fantastic support team so you felt secure and supported the whole time.I would absolutely not hesitate to re-book another adventure with Anna, in fact, I am already planning the next one.If you are after a truly incredible and bespoke experience, with a second to none super qualified and knowledgeable leader, Anna Mountain Girl is definitely the best out there.Thanks again Anna - you are the best xx
