B & D Chimney sweeps

So much more than a sweep!!! Julian managed to restore my tired old Yeoman Woodburner and show me how best to use this stove that I had struggled with for years, it now works perfectly. He couldn't have taken more trouble and care and was a delight to chat with. So glad I found him and I look forward to seeing him again next year.

Julian swept six chimneys in our very old farmhouse, removing birds' and bees' nests, carrying out a thorough service of our Clearview, and a second woodburning stove, and arranging for chimney pots and cowls to be installed where needed.We are very grateful indeed to have found Julian. Truly outstanding service! B&D Chimney sweeps were highly recommended to us by a neighbour, upon arrival Julian set about explaining the process that he would undertake to sweep the chimney and service our wood burner. He kept us appraised all of the way through the process which is way more than just simply sweeping the chimney. Our Clearview was thoroughly dismantled and all of the parts were individually assessed by Julian, he then advised on what should be replaced, what could be reused along with the associated costs involved. The whole process was extremely professional all of the way through and he took time at all of the stages to explain what he was doing. They have a full set of Clearview spares on the van so there was no waiting for replacement parts to arrive. All in all, an excellent customer service experience, extremely competitive and left two very satisfied customers. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them for all our wood burner services.

Having just moved into our property this was our first experience of having a wood burner and Julian came recommended by the previous owner. Julian was extremely professional, informative and kept the area clean whilst servicing the log burner and sweeping the chimney. He even took the time to explain the log burner in detail and how to operate it. We are more than grateful with his visit and would definitely recommend his services and will be using him again next year.

Julian came over on the 23/06/2021 and sorted out the problem we had with the chimney. In fact he managed to get the bird that was stuck, out safely and give the chimney a good old sweep.He is a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend him to anyone who has problems with their chimney.
