terrible delays in processing porting applications June to September 2022. didn't provide full list of required documentation at the beginning of the process, just kept asking for more references, payslips and P60, even though we already have a mortgage with them! Unbelievable

Went with my elderly mum after the recent death of father to sort bereavement ISA issues friendly lady, but unfortunately jumped up manager who wouldn't allow me to sit with as I had my mum's tiny Maltese terrier in my arms, no other bank in Sheffield has had a problem with this, terrible customer care, will be closing all 3 accounts.

Rude staff, told us off for not having an account number when we had the ID we needed to access the account. Obviously an easy issue to solve as it took two minutes without the account number.

Had a number of quite complex enquiries related to bereavement, ISAs and transfers. I was dealt with sympathetically and patiently and received clear advice and information from Anthony. Dealing with bereavement and probate is complex and I couldn’t have had a more helpful conversation. Thanks

Second time my partner and I come here. We were warmly welcomed. The offered us nice coffee and after a 10 min wait a lady helped us to open an account for my partner and provide some details about my existing accountas. The lady took us to a little office and was patient enough and spoke slowly as english is not our first language. A smile from her would have been the cherry on the top, but overall a very positive experience.

I had fraud in my account that the Fraud team took 30 mins to decide it was my own fault and they wouldn’t refund me. No full enquiry or anything. This is how they treat a customer of 30+ years. I don’t recommend Coventry Building Society to anyone
