Great little gem tucked away close by a children's playground. Picnic tables for that impromptu eating and lots of wide open space around too for those little legs to run free.

Came here as a child and now bring mine, we love pets corner. It's a lovely walk from paddy freeman park, they've got toliet facilities, cafe ( dog friendly) and the kids loved the Thomas train £2 per child also ice-cream van outside.

Was a really nice nature reserve area. It's a nice steady walk to the waterfal and back to pets corner where the animals are really friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit if your in the area.

Saw a couple of goats and birds but not worth visiting just for that. Great to pop in while in jesmond dene for a walk though

Great surprise when we were walking in the park. Goats, birds, rabbits all in big enclosures and seem to be in great condition and happy. Lots of rats as well all feeding from the feed bowls. You can't do much about them and just treat them as the animals. Love the feel of the place. It's free but give what you can to keep it going.

Lovely picnic spot for the family, especially with younger kids, there are always a few dogs running around, on top of the selection of farm animals and birds that are in the actual petting area. Also there is a small park, very small £3/person train ride, icecream van there and a cafe with toilets. Excellent place to go back time and again with the family.

We love Pets Corner. They had a little table set up with a craft activity for the children which was brilliant. I hope this continues in school holiday times as the kids loved it. There's so much that could be done here. Scavenger hunts, making bug hotels, nature art etc. I think if Jesmond Dene advertised this on a Facebook page and even charged a small fee to raise funds for the animals I really think it would do well. Its lovely here and a gorgeous walk through Jesmond Dene too. A fab little play park for the kids and the ice cream man is often there too. Lovely cafe with nice coffee and cakes and plenty seating. Thomas the Tank Engine train was there doing rides but we didn't go on it this time. Its £2 per person for a ride . Plenty parking but you do have to pay for this. 50p per hour either cash or via a parking app.We are regulars at pets corner and really love visiting.

Very good as a part of the jesmond dene walk. Not a lot of pets but i think it was meant to be that way. No dogs allowed in fyi.

Great little day out for the (younger) kids. You can stroke the goats. & good selection of birds. Rabbits, etc .Fantastic gift shop that is very reasonably priced at the visitor centre. Small park area & large playing field. 2 larger parks Heaton or paddy freeman’s a short walk away.
