The Nippy Chippy
Good quality fish and chips but quite pricey compared to other chippies in the area.I've been here a few times, the staff are straight to the point and orders are taken quickly. The waiting area is quite cramped so if there's more than 2 or 3 people waiting then you will need to wait outside. Fish and other products cooked to order which means it's fresh and hot but can cause longer wait times ~15mins.

Lunchtime Fish n Chips most be the best value lunch going. £5.50 for a good sized piece of fish and plenty of chips. All perfectly cooked.

We're off to see my brother who lives in Haresfield and will be calling in to Stonehouse for our treat when we visit him. It's a few miles from where he lives but the Nippy Chippy food is well worth the drive, one of the reasons we travel from Cardiff to visit him.

Great fish and chips, usually not too greasy and the batter often nice and crispy. Lunch time special only £3.80, you can't go wrong!

We ordered online and were informed 40 mins. We were nearby 15 mins away.No food turned up for our party of 4.Contacting them again over an hour later .We still were waiting g over half an hour.With the food eventually delivered .When we opened to meals were not hot just warm.Will not use again and in hindsight we should had called to the place ourselves.But why offer a service you simply can not provide.Obviously a big disappointment..

This place has been our 'go to' for fish and chips for years but the last 3 or 4 times the delivery has been late. Most recently it was an hour past the *end* of our delivery slot by the time it turned up - really frustrating when we have a baby to put to bed. I rang up to complain and was told the manager would ring back to sort it out but they never did. I understand that they get busy, especially at the weekend, but why offer 15 minute delivery slots if you can't fulfil them? The food by the time it got to us was like warm and past its best
