Focused Events

Pay extra for collection/delivery service and then they change the location last minute. Turn up with no forklift or driver. Waited over 3 hours for them to unload. The guy in charge is an arrogant idiot who will talk to you like dirt. Not doing another event with these cowboys.

Hi , just back from a fantastic off road weekend based at Almeria circuit, what brilliant time we all had carl & Sean guiding & looking after us, keeping us informed what to expect though out the rides & made sure we were happy with the terrain versus our ability, this was very good value, can’t wait to come back

I have been using FocusedEvents for many years now. I have been using their bikes on vacation program, where I leave the bike in Almeria and they take the bike to the event, with no added cost but a nominal amount for insurance of the bike while stored by them.Their stillages are rather large, so very convenient to take all the kit. But what I - and a number of my friends - like most about it is that the events are run for people to have fun, not for racers, meaning a lot of focus on safety. Beginners and very quick riders are held to the same standards what means the more experienced are expected to support and respect the less experienced. They run groups what really helps with people of comparable skills.By the way, I saw the recent post on the garages in Mugello, and I think there is a misunderstanding. The circuit rents each door as a garage, so some people think that the two doors are one garage, what is not the case. I have to say that I think having 8 bikes in one door is a bit tight but I just received an email from Focused saying that they were unhappy that there were problems and they are keen in trying to sort out the best they can.All that said, I am a bit biased as I really enjoy the service the Focused provides and their focus on me going back home to my family safe and sound... :-)

Firstly many thanks to Alana for sorting all the booking out and making the necessary arrangements to ensure the Performance Academy was a hugely enjoyable 2 days which allowed me to improve my riding.To use (abuse) a well known advertising line.... if Carlsberg did trackdays" then I can say that the BMW Motorrad Performance Academy at Almeria surpassed that....it was a fabulous time and very well run all the way from the initial booking through to the pick up and drop off at the airports and transport to and from the circuit each day. A big thankyou must also go to Jason who did a first class job of organising/managing things right from the moment he met us at the airport to ensuring the Academy delivered what it set out to do each day.The instruction received from Ian Hutchinson was a major plus and he helped me improve my riding on track significantly over the three days. He is a major asset for you to have on board. Whilst the Academy ran over the 2 days I enjoyed it so much that I hired one of Focussed Events BMW S1000RR for a third day (thanks Kevin and Jason for sorting that) and also had further time with Ian.I will certainly be doing this again and will contact you regarding the booking of future events.Once again thanks to all the FE team for putting this together and credit to all of you for running a hugely enjoyable event which at all times was done so in a professional

2 Day Off-Road Adventure, 9th and 10th Dec 2024.Our group of 7 UK based trail riders were treated to a truly professional experience of desert off-road riding with Focused Events.Mainly 250cc Gas Gas 2 strokes, the bikes were in tip top condition, and were ideal for the terrain. All riding gear was provided, even though some of us brought our own gear.Our ride leader, Carlston, new the trails, and was an excellent guide, who quickly gauged our abilities, and rode at a pace that suited the group. He was ably assisted by Carl and Sean was a brilliant Tail End Charlie who showed us how to do the more tricky trails.Would highly recommend this experience, but maybe not suitable for novice riders (although I'm sure Focused Events will tailor the ride to suit rider ability)Many thanks to all the Team!

OK so just done first Spanish track day with focused events..2nd 3rd 4th November fantastic time really well run for some one a bit anxious about euro track days and of matured age.kev runs a really safe honest and friendly disciplined event will definitely be back and keep up the tight running...Still buzzing..

Just did 3 days in portimao with focused. Was so smooth! Now Kevin’s son is running the show the organisation is 1000 times better! Smooth and slick! Well done focused! Keep up the great work!

From the pickup from the airport to being dropped off at the end I have nothing but good words to say about my time at Almería on the BMW Performance Academy with Focused Events. Great tuition on track with Ian Hutchinson and off track Jason M looked after our every need. 15 of us in two groups all had a brilliant time doing the off road desert adventure. Excellent bikes and even better trails. Would recommend to anyone.
