Onich Service Station

This place is life saver for fuel and light refreshments when going to and from Fidden. I always stop here for fuel before the ferry the staff are friendly and it's not a big chain petrol station so you don't get ripped off.

Yeah, you can get fuel and tea, which is rare in these days of self-sevice Costa machines. But the surprise was the spectacular picnic area with utterly sublime views. Thanks to the proprietors for making the effort.

As a garage I suppose it serves a good purpose to locals etc, but today I found them quite disrespectful and to quick to refuse me auto-gas, I couldn’t help but feel they expected me asking and there plan is to say ( no it’s broken ) to all Motorhome’s I’ll make sure I have enough fuel every time I pass, but I’ll leave well alone until they have a better attitude.

NO MASK NO SERVICE. I refuse to give money to a company that discriminates. Absurd that you try to force people to wear a mask for a glorified flu. You lost out on £90 that i spent 12 miles up the road in Fort William. Happy to ser your forecourt empty on the return journey too. Disgusting behaviour.

Small garage, shop and viewpoint. Keep going up the road and you will find better places to stop and take in the scenes but still nice for a sit down with the benches.

This petrol station ideally situated just outside Fort William, with a competent and very pleasant lady in the shop. However on my visit on 3rd September I suffered a burst tyre on entry due to a broken drain cover over the channel between the road and the service area. On informing the lady in the shop I was told this had happened several times before, and indeed, when the Direct Line local garage came out to changfe my wheel, the driver also stated that one of their vans had also suffered in the same way. I have written to the garage with a copy of my £74 bill for replacement tyre and tracking but have not even had the courtesy of a reply. It seems I shall have to start legal proceedings.
