Beautiful place for a walk, with great views, surrounded by sea and gorgeous beach huts. Also had a cafe and toilet facilities.

A rather unique place to visit. Either walk over the top of Hengistbury Head or follow (or ride) the land train road. This takes you to Mudeford with its beach huts on the sand spit. Not changed very much over the years, since we hired huts for childhood holidays in the 1960s. The restaurant / cafe is much different now, and the huts cost as much as a small house! But all looks very familiar. Beach is sandy, water clear so good for swimming, a nice quiet destination.

Visit this place every time I am in the area just love the place. Very varied landscapes from heathland to forest then beautiful sandy beaches then mud flats where you can do a spot of bird watching, don't miss it if you are in the area.

Lovely little place for a walk with the wife this morning! Has some of the most beautiful views around. Wasn't to busy, plenty of dog walkers and hikers, runners etc, some of the routes aren't disabled friendly, but stick to the main routes and you'll be OK! Little cafe there and nabbed a hot choc with all the works! Delicious!. There's a golf course there, hopefully will be open again soon! Parking is just 50 feet from the cafe, lovely day out with the wife! 5*

Perfect place to visit. We popped over for a few hours after staying a few days in Bournemouth.We are now contemplating booking one of the beach huts for a small break next summer.Lovely beach, fairly quiet, nice views on the bay side as well as the beach side.Head up the steps on the hill for a very nice walk, with great views of the Isle of White and as far as Harry's Rocks near Swanage.Cannot wait to go again...

Me and Mudeford Sandspit go back a long way, I used to come here with my family when I was 5 years old and I'm now 58!!! Got lots of fond memories of this place and it's hardly changed
