Town Garage

I took my Honda Civic thier and they over charged on all the items that needed to be fixed. Looking at past reviews this seems to be a comment complaint. I have since talked to other garages and they all said they where very over priced hence why I am confident to post now. When I challenged them they quickly dropped some of the charges showing that they knew they where being un resonable.

Exceptional experience of this garage today for servicing on my Renault. From start to finish I was super impressed and I won't go anywhere else now for any car needs.

Just had our mercedes serviced at Town Garage and can't fault the place. Efficient service less than half price that Mercedes would charge. We dropped it off at 08:30 and we were text at 11:40 to say it was ready for collection. The guy on reception was friendly, helpful and explained everything that was done plus the service was input on the Mercedes electronic service record. Even though we live on the other side of Leeds we will be taking the car back to Town Garage for future services. Thankyou for providing a garage service where you finally don't feel ripped off.

Chose to use this garage after being recommended by a friend whilst having a car issue up in Horsforth (far away from my local garage and where I live) I ended up going twice whilst in the area as the first ‘fix’ didn’t last longer than a few days. Not only was I overcharged massively, my car went on to fail it’s MOT based on the work they had done. I was told it was a rushed botched job and had not been done safely nor properly. Seems they were more interested in a rushed job to earn extra cash then providing a safe and honest service.

I'm a taxi driver and have used this garage since lockdown as they were one of a few that had a work ethic to keep working. I book in for a two hour slot and they never fail to complete the work required on time. Absolutely spot on advice about future preventive maintenance. I have recommended this garage to other people but they have found that they are fully booked up for the next six weeks which us proof of the quality of service they deliver.

Great service reasonably priced I got quoted half the price of what the main dealership quoted me. Really happy with it all will be going back there for my car every time

The day before a long drive we noticed something was clunking with our car. Our nearest garage wasn't able to fit us in urgently, so we rang Town Garage who had previously serviced our car, to see if they could help. They kindly squeezed us in and looked at the car immediately (lunchtime) in case parts were needed. We needed two new springs which they ordered and fitted, and the car was ready by the end of the day meaning we could safely go on our trip without worrying. Amazing service!

I contacted this garage last week as I suspected the clutch was going on my car. I’ve just had knee surgery and can’t drive yet, but needed the car to be ok when I could. I explained that I couldn’t bring the car to them and they said it wasn’t a problem they’d come for it. Picked the car up on Monday, ordered the parts and brought it back to me today. It’s the most pleasant experience I’ve had with a garage, and I thought it was a fair price. Thanks so much for your kindness!

Took 4 old tyres to be swapped over onto another set of wheels as the originals were too rusty to be used. Told them at the time that the inner tubes might also need replacing. Was told that the labour would be equivalent to a puncture repair at £15 a wheel which I thought was reasonable so I took them in. Had a call from them as one of the inner tubes needed a patch due to rust on the rim - fair enough, charged me extra to repair the puncture but I didn't consider that worth mentioning as I'd assumed that meant the other 3 tubes were fine. I picked up the wheels and all seemed fine.Next day put them on my car and noticed they hadn't been balanced, and 3 are flat by the end of the day. I called up today to ask for my money back and got told that I'd have to pay for the labour again on top of the cost of new tubes. They blamed the flats on the old tubes which I had made them aware from the beginning might need replacing, assuming that was all I needed to say to get them to check the condition of them. At this point they hung up on me.I was more than aware, given the age of the tyres (20+ years old), that the tubes were likely not serviceable and told them this when I booked them in. But instead of checking the condition of them while the tyres were off, I'm now stuck paying for the labour again.Perfectly pleasant and friendly when first dealing with them, but the moment something goes wrong you can forget about getting any customer service.
