The samosas were greasy and gave me heartburn while the hygiene is poor due to the mans chest hair being exposed and can fall into the food

I disagree with mr Zeshan Aziz. I feel like the chest hair adds a little flavour and spice to the meal. 10/10 would munch again.

Such pointless opening hours for dpd pickup that you are better having the lottery of them trying your neighbours. I arrived at 16:15 to find the store “closed” when indeed it is clearly open. The owner helpfully toldMe that their opening hours were, in fact, very convenient, and I couldn’t pick up the parcel that was beside us.

Phone number in Google / yell.com not working so you can’t contact them in anyway. I got a text from Dpd to say the parcel will be RTS if not collected but I’m in Scotland so can’t contact the business

I’m am sad to say I used to be addicted to these samosas, but after 4 months of 2 undercooked “meat”(potato) samosas I came to realise through going through 5 days straight of diahrea I came to the understanding that these samosas are horse meat. I wish to save the kids in my area from eating these fake horse meat samosas and getting type 2 diabetes ps his chest hair falls in the samosas

The staff of Thorn Lane News are some of the loveliest people around, they know and clearly appreciate their customers. This has been my parents' local when they first moved to Leeds and it's still mine whenever I'm home, and we're always met with a warm welcome. The samosas and bhajis they sell are amazing and it's just a really great store for any conveniences you might need. There's sadly not as many independent newsagents around anymore, but Thorn Lane News is still the best!
