Amazing place, spectacular effects around cocktails, and good quality of drinks. Recommended to get there for one of the smoky or molecular cocktails and share some appetisers. You can also add a dinner on top (which I had), that follow the show and the style of cocktails (none of the dishes was… conventional). Prices of cocktails is good for the quality that is delivered. Food a bit overpriced, but tasty and good quality of ingredients.

Excellent place for magical cocktails. Brilliant location and when the weather is nice, the outdoor area is sublime. We've been 4 times in the past year, and each time end up getting a lot of cocktails. The food is delicious, but a little overpriced for some items. Staff are pleasant. One small incident we had was when brought a colour changing drink with vials, one of the vial was cracked with small shards of glass in. We brought this up to to the waitress who swapped it out for a none cracked one. We didn't mind, but it seems a bit of an oversight by the bar to not check for such a glaring issue. Luckily we spotted before drinking.

This place was the thing I was the most excited about when visiting Manchester. It did not disappoint me.There are so many vegan/vegetarian options here!! I was surprised by the variety of food we could eat.We got three starters between two of us: Crispy Shrooms, Ultimate Bao Buns, and Karaage Cauliflower. The Crispy Shrooms were my favourite, and the dipping sauce was perfect.For my main, I got the Miso Cauliflower Katsu Curry. I was kinda already full from drinks and starters, but this was delicious with a nice big portion.For drinks, we got the Mad Hatter for 2, which was really cool to see and quite delicious. This was my favourite drink of the night. My boyfriend's favourite was The Legal One.The staff were very lovely. Our waitress was enthusiastic and made sure we were looked after. They closed early because it was a bank holiday Monday, so we didn't get to try desserts. I would definitely go again, though :)

I came as part my sister's 50th celebration on the 24/06/23 in the afternoon.The bar was really nicely presented and I loved the high ceilings and bar decorative arches. I love the industrial, almost steampunk look.The service was fantastic, the Bar lady served about four people at once, somehow remembering their orders! That's some skill.The area is generally not my scene but it was nice to visit a part of Manchester that I would never have thought of coming to previously.My favourite bar of the day .

They accomodated our group easily. We started inside then was accommodated outside later.The drinks were interesting but it would be useful to explain how to drink some of them!Quite a few quite pretentious punters who were quite rude to others.Food was expensive and small portions. Well cooked and tasted great but could do with more of it. I had one main and a side.

Made an enquiry for a booking of 10 people within 2 hours of the booking time. The Alchemist confirmed the reservation even on a busy Saturday night near Christmas. We arrived slightly late due to bad traffic but they held the private space for us. They sent waiters over to take drinks orders and everyone had a great time. We were also roped off from the other parties which was great and we had our own space. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Impressed by the lovely customer service, servers were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant and I liked the dark vibe…the mocktails and drinks were decent, I liked the theatrical aspect of it all. We ordered burgers, I had the plant burger and it was good. My friends also enjoyed their burgers.
