If I could rate this place 10* I would!The support at Russell Farm Livery is one of a kind. This not just a business it’s a family your welcomed into.Yard manager and her Family go higher than above to make sure all horses are safe healthy and happy. As well as owners.There’s not many places that would get up early on Christmas Day to make you coffee and breakfast whilst your mucking your horse out, cheer you on at competitions, take you to competitions, send you regular pictures of your horse having a carrot at 10pm on night check.All horses are in a professional routine. If your unable to fit into the routine with running late at work you don’t have to worry as your horse will already be in. All horses are fed at the same time morning and night so nothing is left out.Owner has experience with horses of all ages and capabilities.Facilities are brilliant. Large stables, freshly harrowed ménage and fields.Correct regular worming program that works.Suitable for people of any ages or abilities, retired horses or competition horses.I would never have left if I didn’t get offered my own premises.

I cannot express how fantastic everyone is at Russell Farm! It is an amazing place with truly wonderful people, who clearly care deeply about all of the animals and those using their facilities! 15 out of 10 would recommend to anyone!

Lovely little yard, great routine and the horses are very happy. Fantastic for any full livery and the owner clearly really cares about every horse as if it's her own. Unfortunately I can't reccomend the DIY; it's not DIY friendly at all. You don't have any say about how you look after your own horse, you can't bring them in when you want and you can't even decide which rug your horse has on. Repeatedly goes against your wishes and sadly, this hugely put my horses health at risk, the main reason I had to leave.You are on very limited time when you are there; can't go up in the mornings (certainly not any earlier than 8am) and you have to be off the yard by 7pm; not ideal when you finish work late. Fields are in an odd layout, you can't get your horse without going through another field of horses which isn't safe, horses are bought in in the dark, again not very safe and the barn doors are fully locked one end while containing horses which is a huge fire risk. Zero field maintenance and a very out of date worming programme.Avoid if you are looking for a flexible livery package, though would be great for anyone looking for full livery and novices.

Russell Farm Livery is a fantastic and well maintained yard, with a very knowledgeable owner and great staff. I can not fault the atmosphere which is always warm and welcoming. Thank you!

My daughter kept her horses at this yard, we would still be there only she was offered her life long dream of having her own yard. There was lots of tears when she left, she was so happy there and made friends with the owner and Her family, nothing was ever too much trouble, we both miss them. The horses welfare always came first and the peace of mind of their owners. You will be very lucky to be offered a place on this yard.
