Thai House

One of my favourite shops in Canterbury. I may even have been the first customer! Lots of small gifts, silk scarves, brooches and beautifully made silk blouses, amongst many other delights.

Much larger inside than it appears from the street front, Thai House is full of the most beautiful and unusual Thai gifts; from clothes, hair accessories and jewellery, to shoes, bags and purses, they even stock ornaments and wall art. The silk scarves and shawls are so stunning and reasonably priced, they are a must purchase, and the little soft toy elephants are so cute it's hard not to want to take one home with you. Sales staff are very friendly and helpful but will also let you browse if you prefer to take your time. This independent shop is one of the best places in Canterbury for gifts or even just to treat yourself.
