Leanach Farm
We didn’t stay at the B&B but went for sheepdog experience. Ian is so lovely, he let us in early to spend extra time with the sheep. Demonstration was amazing and his dog Glen is so well trained. We absolutely loved the whole experience and would definitely return when we are back in Scotland. I would advice anyone visiting Inverness not to miss this experience.

During my trip to Inverness, I paid a visit to Leneach Farm for a shepherding demonstration. We did not have the pleasure of staying at the B&B, but this experience was well worth the visit. Ian was very kind and showed us the ropes of shepherding with his talented dogs. Definitely worth the trip for guests and others staying in Inverness!

Went for a sheepdog demonstration, beautiful farm, friendly and informative. Went above and beyond by letting us feed some of the sheep and brought the highland cows up for us to see and pet

We came to Leanach Farm to see a couple of working border collies in action and we were not disappointed! Ian has a lot of humour and love; towards us tourists and his dogs! We also got to meet some other animals at the farm, for example the pigmy goats. So cute! The wee Oliver, who was helping out, was such a sweet guy! Highly recommend to visit!

Working sheep dog demo only….friendly, informative sheep farmer. Learned lots, loved the dogs! Got to see other animals as well….sheep and cows.

We took our four kids on a month long trip to the UK and this sheepdog demonstration was the highlight of our whole trip. It's really one of the coolest thing we've ever seen and the thing we find ourselves telling everyone about now that we're home. The scenery is indescribably beautiful- brilliant greens on rolling hills as far as you can see and the Roseanne and Iain were so incredibly friendly and accommodating. We loved every minute and can't recommend it highly enough.

Most comfortable room of all the B&Bs we stayed in. Lovely views from the breakfast room. A short walk to Clava Cairns and to the Culloden Historical site. We were also treated to a demonstration with the border collies and the sheep. A short drive from Inverness, would stay there in a heatbeat!

We stayed in this beautiful, peaceful B&B early in May. The breakfasts and the sheep dog demonstration were the highlights of my husband's trip. We enjoyed the quiet and calm and listening to the sheep after busy travelling days.

Beautiful B&B in a working farm setting. Highly recommend asking to watch the working dog demonstration, best to ask while booking so they can fit you in. Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We only got to stay for one whole day but it’s a perfect weekend getaway, or worthy for a stop on your vacation journey. It’s not a far drive from Inverness and within walking distance of a few ancient sites to visit.

We didn't stay at the B&B but instead went for a working sheepdog demonstration with Iain. It was in the top three experiences during our entire vacation. Iain was absolutely delightful and gave a lengthy presentation with a young sheepdog and a working sheepdog. It was amazing to watch the dogs move a group of sheep in between obstacles. After the demonstration, we were able to meet the dogs and the sheep and take all the pictures we wanted. He also let us wander a bit and see goats, baby lambs, Highland cows, and other animals. I highly recommend setting up a demonstration!!
