Pity they ran out of soft drinks, but the building was very clean and pleasant, missed out on a lot of revenue as we were forced to go to The British legion for the majority of our drinks.

Went for a friend's birthday. Had everything you needed. Large space and cheap beer. Great little function space

A good venue to hire, and the janitor turns up late just to put the pressure on the event organisers.Typical village hall

Hardwicke village hall is an essential part of the village, it's in constant use by various clubs and groups around the area. It has a new well equipped kitchen area and large hall which can be hired for weddings and parties etc.

Such a good venue for parties and activities. They have a private bar that opened at around 6.30pm or 7pm on the day we had our function. It was very clean and the kitchen space is quite roomy. They also have a room beside the bar that was used as a soft play area for the children during the function. The soft play equipment was hired out by a different company. The venue can easily accommodate 150 person or maybe more. A band was hired so they took up a bit of space at the front of the main hall. There were electrical issues with the speakers due the the electricity voltage difference of the bands equipment and the output of the power supply in the hall but with the help of an engineer the issue was sorted in time. There is a huge field outside the hall and play ground near by where the children could play. Overall a good place for hosting any parties any time of the year.

Fair price, easy to book, easy key hand over. Would hire again for a party or event.

Large hall, ideal for any type of celebration. There is a bar, although it was closed on this occasion. All areas accessible to disabled, on one level, no stairs at all. I was attending a 90th Birthday Party but I have attended many different functions here right down to Wedding reception with sit down hot meal. Don't know how much to hire, but we'll worth checking out if you're looking to book somewhere for s function. Easy to get to, down Green Lane, Hardwicke. Next door to the British Legion.9
