Know how to make sure the customer has a good experience and the 24hr dispensing machine is such a brilliant idea for us working folk who miss the normal working hours…..now I can collect at a time that’s convenient for me !!! I was about to give it 5* for my service but when I was about to leave a rude staff telling a customer/patient who just wanted to book for a blood test no English to go and get someone who can speak English to help". Luckily there was a lady who got up and helped him. Appalling behaviour when you should be living the 7 values of NHS."

I’ve had to have a lot of blood tests lately for years it has been difficult to get any blood from me which includes the hospital Longford chemist is the only place who can the customer service is exceptional, the personal touch and welcome is incredible as a customer and a patient each and every member of the pharmacy have helped me in some way thank you and would recommend to all

Excellent pharmacy.Very nice staff. It has the added bonus of doing on site blood tests booked online.It is very convenient if you use the medical centre next door.My wife and I both had an appointment with a doctor and by the time we walked the short distance to the pharmacy our prescriptions were already on the computer for us to collect.

Just lost a customer. They do not answer the phone. Prescriptions go into the robot sounds great doesnt it, then you get a text with a code and then you can go along any time and collect your prescription by entering code. However, my last few prescriptions have not made it to the robot, so, as GP sends prescriptions straight to the chemist you do not know if they are ready. So you try phoning and they don’t answer - we are talking 5-10 minutes of ringing and no answer. So you trek to the chemist and collect….. wait for it…… part of your prescription if you are lucky and an owing slip. These chemists make a fortune from us and and the NHS well Longford Chemist you have just lost 2 customers who you were providing 11+ prescriptions a month for on repeat. Your lack of customer service has meant another chemist will be getting my business. If you are considering using this chemist I would recommend you think again. Superdrug will be getting my business now, they answer the phone, they deliver for free if you cannot make it into town and they liaise with your GP if medication is out of stock. With the government relying on pharmacies more and more, you do not want to be relying on these muppets with anything to do with your health.
