Dorridge Dogs

It’s so good to have Dorridge Dogs group walks back after lockdown. With four of us at home, it seemed our 14 month old labradoodle was getting plenty of fun and attention. However, being such a friendly dog we decided that he’d benefit from the group walks when they restarted. So pleased that we did. He comes home exhausted and happy, and frankly a little less naughty!Helen and the team really care about the dogs, and are particularly good at matching dogs together that they know will get on and have fun. Highly recommended.

I can highly recommend Dorridge Dogs after using their services for approximately six years. I have a bouncy boxer dog and Helen and her team have walked him for me on a weekly basis come rain or shine. He always has an off lead walk with them at local parks or at Solihull Riding Club in a small group of maybe one or two other dogs. My boxer adores Helen and Chris and I trust them totally with him. Recently he was unwell and Helen popped in one evening to cheer him up which just shows how committed she is to her clients. They have never once let us down and there has never been any worries or issues with their services. I have also participated in a training course with Chris when my dog was younger which was very useful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dorridge Dogs.

We ve been using Dorridge dogs for ages now. We have a really nervous dog and they have been fabulous with him. We have found them to be trustworthy and reliable. They ve never let us down. We really like the fact that the dogs are off lead and they train them to return to them. They then go out in groups of 3 dogs. They are carefully matched so they go with their mates. They have a great time playing in their group but they all come back when called. At the start they cant go on the group walks until the recall is trustworthy. I know that on the days we use them he will have a good run and enjoy himself. They re really knowledgeable as well and are always happy to advise. We were really anxious when we started this as leaving him with someone else was a big thing for us. However, he really loves all the small group of staff who walk him he is always so happy to see them. If I could give 6 stars I would. They re brilliant.

My lively black labrador really looks forward to his weekly walk with Helen of Dorridge Dogs, waiting expectantly by the door for her arrival. He returns much calmer and relaxed ready for several hours sleep. A great comfort to me knowing that he is meeting his friends in the safe and capable hands of Dorridge Dogs. Highly recommended.

Dorridge Dogs are all about care and professionalism.I know Helen and her team look after all the dogs in their care to the very highest standard. They make the effort to get to know each dog, and each owner. They do everything they say they will, and more. They collect, walk, entertain, train, care for, dry off, remove the mud and fox poo, take to the vet if necessary, return safety and report back. I trust them to look after Lily and know they respect my home and maintain confidentiality.Each member of the team is properly qualified and trained to look after the dogs in their care. Their cars are properly equipped to carry dogs and well maintained. They take the dogs to safe places where they can run around and play.But most important of all “Helen and her team are all lovely people”.

Helen, Chris and team have been terrific with our puppy Alfie. He loves the walks and they have helped support us with his development! It’s clear they really care. Very knowledgeable and personable.Highly recommend both the dog walking and training services.

I couldn't recommend Helen and the Dorridge Dogs team highly enough. I have two lively labradoodles, they both love going on their group walks. The socialisation and training aspect of the service Helen's team provide is so valuable, no matter how old the dogs are. We would be lost without them!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Dorridge Dogs. They have walked my nervous Goldendoodle three times a week for over 3 years. The whole team are really wonderful with Skye and they have taken time to carefully introduce her to new members of staff to gain her trust and give her confidence. Skye clearly really adores them all and is super excited if we bump into any of the team when out and about. There have been no occasions when Skye has not been walked as planned and Helen has been marvelous at fitting Skye in for extra walks to help when I have been poorly or had ad hoc training or meetings to attend. Helen and her team definitely go above and beyond.

My lovely labradoodle Ernie has been walked regularly by Helen and the team over the last four years or so.I love my dog very, very much and would only entrust him to somebody who is as responsible, careful and caring as me and the rest of Ernie’s family.Helen and the team meet these criteria. Milo is walked regularly by Dorridge Dogs. He’s always so excited to see the team and has a fabulous time out with his pals. Very reliable, friendly and provide a brilliant service.
