Dial Lane Books

unfortunately i went and there was no ramp for wheelchair users, failing to comply with the equality act, and really disappointing me because i wanted to go and support a local bookstore, really cute shop though.

Wanted to support a local book store during lockdown, so used their link to order some of my college texts on the BOOKSHOP.ORG site. I then emailed the shop to ask for a few book marks (as I never have enough) and lovely Andrew made sure I got lots of good, stiff, long book marks so I'll never forget my place.

I have long wanted to pay Dial Lane Books a visit and today, that moment came. I was blown away. Andrew has created the most perfect environment for the dedicated book lover. Cool soundtrack, amazing selection of fabulous books arranged over two floors and lots of style too. I loved it and had to stop myself from buying more books by resolutely marching down the stairs and paying for the five I'd purchased (I guess you could call it research). An absolute gem in the heart of Ipswich - fantastic children's section too.

What a fantastic bookshop, everything a local indie shop should be. Diverse stock, great curation and a lovely, friendly and knowledgeable owner! Support your local indies.

A tucked away gem in central Ipswich. Dial Lane Books has a beautifully curated collection of books for all readers. Not to be missed is the children’s section which has a reading chair for adults and little stools for little readers - the collection here is absolutely not to be missed. A great place to go for inspiration, intellectually, creative,, or for presents for others. We went to get two books each for our two and three year old boys for Christmas - we came out with about fourteen books, and half of those were for us parents.Go support this wonderful independent bookshop. It’s a magical treasure trove the likes of which are slowly dying out these days.

Great little book shop and a refreshing alternative to chain stores. My only criticism is not enough Sci Fi books but that's just my taste. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Ipswich.

Everything about this place is just perfect. A massive selection of book, friendly staff and a great service. If they don't have what you're after they're always happy to get it in for you too.
