The Rose & Crown
I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5 for food. Reason: my pork belly roast was great, the turkey roast was excellent too. My friend’s lamb roast was not sadly - the lamb tasted more of a mutton rather than a lamb. One thing to know about a mutton - the taste is not to everyone’s pallet!The starters were tasty. The favourite was the scotch egg!

A very chill and accommodating venue. We took our newborn for her first brunch. Delicious brunch menu would recommend the hash browns! We stayed a little longer than anticipated and got some picky bits from the starter menu too, fab wings. We were able to pick our table and move to a better one when available. It's a cute venue with food and drinks to match - definitely instagrammable dishes but super tasty too. It started to rain a little but the wait staff were quick to put the umbrellas up. A great crowd and dog friendly.

We went here today and the food was amazing. We had seen it all over tiktok and Instagram. It was the perfect place for a brunch settings. We were served by John and Alex were amazing and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to try some more things on the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Rose & Crown, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great food at this gastropub. Especially impressed with the starters. Scotch eggs and fish tacos are amazing. Absolutely enjoy the vibe sitting outdoors. The gigantic umbrellas kept us sheltered and dry while we chilled and enjoyed the food in the London rain.

The Rose & Crown
We had our wedding reception upstairs at the Rose and Crown and it was fantastic. Before the day, we worked with Josie and Ros to make sure everything was organised - access early to the room to add some decoration, playlists, wine lists, food choices etc, and I cannot speak highly enough of either of them as to how collaborative they were and how comfortable they made us feel with it. I realised the day before that I’d neglected to get place names, but the R&C team were way ahead of me with beautiful cards.On the day we were extremely well looked after by John at the meal (emanating peace on what had the potential to be a stressful day) and Lenny (professional but fun when we were ready to party) at the drinks reception, with the lovely, calm and capable Maya supporting us through to the end. When we changed from the sit down meal to the drinks reception we were able to go outside and enjoy the late sun while the team did a superb job of quickly resetting the room.The food was (as always with the Rose and Crown) exceptional, we chose the wines we wanted from the standard list but Josie worked with her suppliers to get the specific beer we wanted, and the cost was very reasonable.If you are the type of person who needs every detail planned months in advance this might not be for you, but if you are looking for a beautiful venue with a lovely supportive team to enjoy your celebration I would wholeheartedly recommend The Rose and Crown. Also make sure you go a few times in advance to sample the delicious food and wine, and then keep going afterwards for the same reason!

Went with family, food was delicious, very busy Friday evening. Despite how packed it was we were able to move tables & chill. We had some amazing starters to share inc scotch egg, crispy calamari (very small portion, not very crispy), chicken wings, fab lamb shoulder croquettes & fish tacos. Unfortunately the fish tacos were soggy & fell to pieces upon lifting but still nice.Mains were huge & I shared the fish & chips, I'd have preferred the chips my son received with his chicked burger tbh. Again, delicious.Dessert was fab & we shared.Only issue is parking in the area, it's difficult to find any!. Would go again!.

The Rose & Crown
The food was amazing - we ate from the brunch menu - and the service incredible too. Within 2 minutes of sitting down we were greeted and given menus. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and genuinely interested in how we were. It was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy our meal without being surrounded by cigarette smoke too. We will definitely be returning!

The Rose and Crown on the Polygon, a much renovated pub offering a couple of cask ales along with a selection of keg beers to enjoy. Lovely service from a committed team and some soft music to help your drink go down. Most enjoyable!
