I started using Avalanche after buying a luxury Japanese import last year, having no idea how difficult it would be to find a garage willing to work on it! Being a female motorist adds an extra layer of difficulty.Max and Sam not only willingly do whatever is needed but I totally trust the quality of their work. Nothing is too much trouble, they're very respectful and they take immense pride in doing a good job. I'm so glad to have found these guys, and have no hesitation recommending their services.

10/10 service would recommend Avalanche to anyone looking for a garage in the area. Max and his team always make sure they get you in asap (everyone knows how inconvenient it is to have an issue with your car!), they do the work to the highest standard and always for the best price they can. I feel totally safe and confident knowing my car is looked after by Max!

i have used Max for many years now, from simple cosmetic damage and touch ups, to a complete rebuild and re vamp of a 2012 T5 transporter .i have also used him for various mechanical issues to, nothing is ever too much trouble,answers calls night and day and always comes across with a can do " attitude that's refreshing and a pleasure to deal with .a great new premises at Bolton abbey and a body shop that reflects the quality of the work they put out

Max and the team at Avalanche Automotive are simply amazing.I've had the pleasure of working with them on numerous occasions now.Firstly to build a personal custom Landrover Defender, which has turned more heads than any other car I've ever owned. This was a ground up build everything was custom from the seats to the dash board to the paint job and the engine you name it everything was custom.They have also carried out extensive custom work to my Range Rover Sport at a cost way less than the dealer wanted. And plenty of other jobs like fixing the boot of my M3 when someone drove into it and today I got back the RRS after they fixed a rather nasty bit of damage I did by driving into a security barrier (2 doors, side skirt etc). I'm always met with a smile and the work is top notch.If your passing then its worth poking you head in to have a coffee just to see all the crazy custom projects they will currently have on the go! Good day out to be honest.

Excellent service every time! I’ve used Avalanche for years for body work/repair to my last few cars where I’ve had bumps/scratches including some very acute damages. The finish Avalanche give is spot on and the rates are very reasonable. Always good to have peace of mind knowing the job will get done to the highest standard. Recommend!

Max and his team resprayed my classic 1972 Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 recently. I had been quoted some high prices and some suspiciously low prices but Max was spot on. I was happy to tap into his expertise on Land Rovers to give my classic a good quality but enduring respray. Regular pictures of progress and on schedule. Recommended.

An all round excellent service from Max & Simon at Avalanche with our Bond Edition 1996 Defender 90.Together a plan was formed & the quality of workmanship and the standards throughout have been exemplary.If you haven’t seen us out & about, call in & check out our machine. Max did a wonderful job repairing and spraying my car after it was badly damaged. The finish was superb and it as now looks as good as new. Max has a lovely persona about him, he explains clearly and precisely exactly how he is going to do the job and i really appreciated his honesty and it put my mind at ease. Thank you.

I’ve always use Max/Avalanche for work on my performance cars and most recently my Focus RS. Always been able to deal with whatever I need whether it be paintwork , servicing or performance enhancements. Would highly recommend.
