Very nice staff and a really good range of items. Nothing is too much trouble and they order it for you to collect there if they haven't got it in stock. We are so blessed to have a Go Outdoors in Altrincham

I picked up a tent from the Altrincham store which ended up being faulty, returned the faulty tent to the store only to be told we can't accept it, we don't have a tent portal. What is a tent portal ? The Stockport branch asked why I didn't take it back to where I bought it from, Definitely won't be going back

Came in today staff were very helpful managed to resolve an issue I was having with my card in no time at all.Told me about other discounts that were available so that is very mich appreciated. Got my 2 euro hike bottles and returning for shoes shortly.

Weird old guy assistant. Walked past me when tring to try on shoes. When he gave me them he stood in front of me with his back to me. So I couldn't sit down. Then he suggested they wouldn't have others in stock. Then he said I should take the shoes off that I wasn't sure about and pay for them i.e. not helpful.Then I was asked for a silly price when checking out. They said I needed to join, so I did, for a fee. Then they still asked for too much.Poor organisation. Poor staff training. Bad members policy. Noticed them asking for a silly price for a scarf feom someone else so she walked out without buying.Won't be returning. I ended up taking the ill fitting shoes back and getting some from a normal shop instead. Of course no refund for the silly membership fee.Prices are cheap but not as advertised. Only use if you have no other optioms.
