Polpier & Penpol

Absolutely fantastic, both buildings are wonderful and look stunning, there is plenty of space, and are in a prime location in Mevagissey, with easy access to the town (Providing you like hill walking) The site offers brilliant facilities, with table tennis/tennis court, a pool, a pool table, a massive garden, outdoor seating and cooking facilities, a dance room, and even a croquet lawn. There is plenty of room for large families, with the main building having a large number of bedrooms, of large size. The staff do a good job of cleaning the place prior to visiting and the site is extremely dog friendly, and I can confirm dogs will love it.

The houses are in a stunning location with amazing views of Mevagissey, whilst being just 3 minutes walk from the harbour. The staff went out of their way to provide everything I needed to make my birthday weekend fabulous. Everything in the house, including the bedding and towels were top quality. The dance floor, disco decks and the swimming pool just added to the the whole experience.

Very lovely place with lovely view

Great location for a wedding. Spent the weekend in a beautiful room celebrating our nephew’s nuptials. If you’re happy to “muck in” and help out with the guests to get things organised for the happy couple, you’ll find everything to hand to do just that. There’s ovens, a large Aga, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, plenty of cutlery & crockery to cover all the bases as well as some decks for any budding DJ for that first dance. The views over Mevagissey are glorious too. All in all a wonderful weekend!

Amazing setting in cornwall with breathtaking views, glorious beaches and the house itself is outstanding. Perfect for celebrating anniversaries, weddings, birthdays etc. With ping pong, huge TVs, snooker, croquet, and a big swimming pool, there is loads of entertainment for the family.

Gorgeous venue, opulent fittings and stunning gardens. Perfect party house and lovely wedding venue. Stay as long as you can to make the most of the house and pool. Short stroll into Mevagissey.

A lovely venue, I had the pleasure to be asked to photograph a small intimate wedding being hosted at Polpier.Views are amazing and there are so many things to do.

My wife and I got married at Polpier. Mevagissey has always been a huge part of my family, and so when it came to deciding a venue, Meva was top of the list. There aren't any bad views in Mevagissey, but Polpier is situated at the heart of the village, looking directly out to sea over the lighthouse with the village flanking the bay on either side. If the view and idyllic location weren't enough, the facilities were enough to blow our minds. The beds are a dream, the bathrooms are glorious, the linen is stunning, the downstairs is spacious and silent. We had a party with music blaring, yet when a few people wanted to go to bed early, as soon as their doors closed they couldn't hear a thing. Underfloor heating, fires and agas prevent the cold and the wood fired pizza oven creates a glorious evening watching Mevagissey become illuminated by the stars.Quality and class in everything you touch. I hate the word perfect because nothing ever is, yet Polpier and Penpol changed my mind. Highly recommended, worth every penny.

Staying in Polpier and Penpol in a haven of calm and luxury you could be almost anywhere in the world, but you don't have to catch a plane to get here.
