Damproofing & Timber Services has carried out works for me and my partner over the last ten years, we have recommended them to our friends and family who have had works carried out and they would recommend them too, i have never had any problems with this company and the workman are FAB! a first class service by a first class company. PS Don't buy a house without having a survey carried out by them.

From day one of survey to having all the works carried out i was amazed how professional DTS was, i would highly recommend this company, i have spoken to them about the negative reviews on here and was informed they never carried out works for these people, the boys that are employed by the company are very polite, they turn up on time and carry out works to a very high standard, they have also carried out works on a family members property from my recommendation and to the same standards, ignore the false reviews you wont be disappointed with this company. Well done DTS and many thanks.

My advice is to AVOID this outfit like the plague. The walls which they tanked were breached and began to leak after just over a year, and they refused to rectify the problem at their own cost. The attached photos show the state of the walls after being tanked by DTS.We also discovered to our horror that the guarantee they sold us to cover the tanking was very specific and didn't actually cover that type of application.The main internal wall in the tanked room was plastered by DTS and the plaster is now hollow, cracked, damp, and falling off. The condition of the room belies the fact that any damproofing measures were taken at all. All the plaster has to be taken off again.Plaster they applied to an external wall in a bedroom is also extensively cracked and hollow.Three of the four humidistat fans DTS installed have stopped working properly and, in one case, replacement has been made very difficult as they mounted the fan before plastering the wall, meaning they had to plaster around the fan casing. The shape and model of fan is no longer available.I would advise spending a little more for the services of a proper builders firm. You could save a lot of money in the long run by not having to pay for the work to be done twice. Maybe you'll be lucky and nothing will go wrong, but if it does and you need DTS to rectify their work, that's when you could realise what a huge mistake you've made.
