Such poor service. No staff and unapologetic. As I was waiting I decided to see what was quicker, a switch to Lloyds or my turn… turns out it’s quicker to join Lloyds bank. Bye NatWest.

The worst service I ever encountered. Honestly, forget about the service, this bank don't have any... Most staff don't have a clue what they doing and can't be bothered. It's ashamed, they used to be very good... Checking back, the last good review they got was 2 years ago. I always come to this bank to do my banking because it's closed to where I live. But the last few times had been a complete let-down! Now I'd rather travel a little further, pay for my parking and get the normal service everyone would expect from a bank. So far, other branches I visited haven't got any problems. This seems to be the only branch in (Hanley) Stoke-on-Trent that desperately needs help!

I have been banking with this branch of Nat West Hanley for over 40 years. I have no complaints at all, always very pleasant and professional. If I need to speak to an advisor. I have never had to wait long,obviously if there are a lot of people waiting you have to wait. The staff can do nothing about queues if people all decide to go at the same time.

Absolute joke. Staff are useless. They act all high and mighty and are absolutely no help at all. The older woman with brown hair is pathetic. Wait time is over 30 mins just for them to say come back another day. Staff are trash.

If you need the counter service, please plan ahead and give yourself 45 minutes. If you are able to use the self service you should be OK. If you have a general query I would usually suggest ringing the 0345 number rather than queing. The phones are useless, you can't get to speak to a person, and then cut off after waiting more than 20 minutes.The staff are very friendly, hence the 2 stars rather than a 1. I feel really sorry for them, its not their fault. The Nat West decision makers in their high castles couldn't give a rats ....!

Great experience here. Served straight away by really helpful, knowledgeable staff. Did several things while we were there with separate accounts and both Michelle and Louise where very accommodating. So easy! Thank you.

A shambles of a bank. One server, with a queue 30 deep. Been waiting 45 minutes in the queue. None of the staff have a clue what’s happening. Server stood chatting with customer about nothing whilst queue gets bigger and bigger and customers get more and more frustrated. Hang your heads in Shame NatWest, because you’ve failed.

Customer Service here is virtually non-existent. The queues here are usually so long, that I balk at joining them. 06/08/22. At 10.07am on Saturday both (human) teller counters were closed. Apparently they don't open on Saturdays. So why open this branch at all? There are ATMS (Automated Teller Machines) outside.

Four times I try to open an account in this branch without success. They tell me to go home and we will call you. Then when I go home they ask me to go back to the branch. Then when I go to the branch they ask me to go home. I don’t know if it was racist treatment or not, but I felt contempt inside this branch . if you are a nice person, they will change your mood. I called them today, so they hung up on me, then I called back, so they asked me to wait two days to get an Arabic translator. I hope that the bank manager reads this comment to reveal the truth about the workers in this branch.
