Excellent fun for the grandchildren. You can easily spend the whole day playing and holding the animals and even feeding the dear. The cafe has a good choice and not to expensive.

I ended up buying annual passes, because there's limited stuff to do in Weymouth and FP is 25 minutes up the road.As you enter the farm there's different things to do in each barn.Soft play / slides ideal for up to 5Ride on tractor toys / bouncy castlesHaystacks with various slidesThe hen house cafeOutdoor play areaPedal kartsSmall climbing wall and ride on diggersLarge bouncy castleMaize mazeDinosaur trailDeer feedingGuinea pig holding and animals to seeI'd say up age 10 is ideal (obviously depending on your child!).

We had the worst weather possible but nevertheless it was an awesome farm to visit! Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was good as well (they also have glutenfree options). Most animals were hiding outside in their little houses (guess most didn't enjoy the rain either), but they also have a big barn, where you can see some goats, ponies, sheep, guinea pigs and more and even though them when staff advises. It was also not heavily visited because of the rain, so was nice in a way to not have a crowded place. Can recommend to go to Farmer Palmer!

Absolutely brilliant! We visited on Easter Sunday while on holiday in the area, loads going on and lots of things to see and do for the kids. Loved the bunny bandit tractor ride with the water pistols and egg hunt, go karts were great fun and the dinosaur trail was a very relaxing end to a great day. Food was really tasty and everything well kept and tidy, great staff too and Mr Palmer himself is a lovely chap. Fantastic day out and would highly recommend.

Great destination for families with very young children and adults who are fond of farm animals. Unfortunately on the day of our visit there was an issue with power and water supply, so there wasn't much food or cold drink available and the disabled toilet had no light or running water. We still had a nice time with the close experiences with the animals, and it made a lovely surprise day out for a friend who loves sheep. For those coming by public transport - the bus stop is called Farmer Palmers and you can take the number 10 or number 40 route - please be aware these are not very frequent (every hour or less frequent) and the stop is not great. It is on the verge of the road and you will need to either be on the grass verge or on the road, and vehicles will come down this way at speed so be very very careful.

What a brilliant place to bring young kids. We were looking for somewhere to go with our 10 month old that was suitable for him and we would enjoy too. Although too young for a lot of the activities there was plenty to keep him occupied and he loved watching the animals. Unfortunately it poured with rain the entire time so we're very glad the main barn was under shelter and were able to feed the goats and sheep in the dry. Spent a while in the under 8s play barn where little one was happy to crawl around, then did the dinosaur walk which we enjoyed despite the rain. Maize maze was a little disappointingly easy but guess it's aimed at kids so. Will come back when little one is older and it's drier!

Extremely recommended not just for the incredible amount of animals to interact with and the activities to do… but also because the actual Farmer Palmer is the one who gets most of the water shoots as well as giving the most knowledgeable (and hilarious) demo of cow milking.Staff is amazing, great facilities.Worth the price and travel (we drove 45’)

You can really tell the love that's gone into making this the best day out for families - animals, soft play, sand, petting, endless places to play but also plenty of open space for kids to explore including the maize. Even on a drizzly day it worked perfectly for our toddlers. Staff very lovely. Restaurant food made in house and delicious. Fantastic day out!
