Townscapes helped transform our derelict paved garden into a wonderful space for all the family. The work was carried out to a very high standard and the site was kept nice and tidy throughout. We are thrilled with the new space and would highly recommend for any landscaping project.

Martin did a fabulous job of removing our old enormous overgrown hedge and creating a new one. He helped us to choose suitable plants that were within budget and would be easy to shape and maintain. He and his team worked hard and ensured that we were kept informed about progress throughout. We are so pleased with our new hedge, thank you.

We have used Martin on two occasions and would happily use him again. Although Martin and his team are excellent in carrying out the work, his real expertise was in the design and concept work which we wouldn't have come up without his input.His last job for us required an extensive redesign and remodelling of a rather tired vegetable patch. The resulting work has given us both a raised bed and stonework paving and walls which is not only safe and practical but also beautiful as well.Thankyou Martin for a job well done.

We engaged Martin at Townscapes to design and build our front and back gardens in Hove in 2017. He turned what was a very traditional and slightly dull area in to a wonderful south facing wrap around garden, with different levels, prairie style planting (lot's of grasses, echinacea) with a theme aimed at attracting lots of bees and wildlife. He also installed a nordic wood fired hot tub, sunken trampoline, seating and dinning areas and a wooden structure for workouts and hammocks. We were super pleased with the result. Thank you Martin. We consulted numerous garden designers, and we chose Martin because he combined great expertise and ideas with a real willingness to work with us on a shared design. His quote was also highly competitive. And I have to say, he did a fantastic job: very efficient, lots of attention to detail, no mess, and unfailingly helpful at every stage of the process. Our garden is transformed - we couldn't be happier. We'd recommend him unreservedly.

Townscapes were brilliant from start to finish. I felt they really listened to what we were after and therefore produced an insightful garden design that met all of our criteria. They executed that plan perfectly and when unexpected things came up (as they always do!) we felt very involved as we all discussed the various options/solutions. The finished garden is fantastic and even better than we expected. They even gave me notes on each plant and how to look after it so we can keep it looking good! The guys were polite, friendly, professional, considerate, hard working, tidy and punctual. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use again in the future.

Martin was incredible with every aspect of our project, from the initial design to the execution, and even the aftercare for that matter. My wife and I are not the most creative thinkers so Martin really helped to bring some life and design features to our back garden.He transformed our tired and unusable back garden into a social and tranquil space which we could all enjoy as a family and we couldn't be more chuffed with the outcome.He was always polite, friendly, professional and hard working (he even showed up the next day after running a full marathon for a days graft as well as moving a ton of paving slabs by himself).If your looking for someone that truly has a passion for design and attention to detail then Martin is your man! Martin did an incredible job of our garden: what was once a neglected, underused space has now become a very much admired and frequently enjoyed space, an extension of our indoor living space, even in winter, around the fire fit. Martin really listens to your ideas and often makes fantastic suggestions dictated by years in this business. He is great to work with and I've not had a big renovation project go this smoothly. Can't recommend Townscapes highly enough!
