Customer service is exceptional. Really friendly and helpful. They always respond to inquires quickly. Quality of the wood is superb. We've used their air dried ash logs and they light perfectly and burn hot and long. Deliveries are also a breeze. They bring the logs into your home and put them wherever you want. Can't recommend them enough.

I've used various suppliers across the Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea area and can honestly say Backwell wood is the best quality. The ordering and delivery process is easy, professional and helpful. Unlike other suppliers they were happy to leave the log bag with me, knowing they can retrieve it at the delivery of my next order. Also unlike other suppliers the logs were completely dry despite recent bad weather (December delivery). The only small snag was a small proportion of the logs were very large and I had to use my rotating saw to cut them down to wood burner size. Even though they are more expensive I'll be using Backwell Logs regularly from now on.

I have been buying logs from Backwell on a regular basis for several years. They are always extremely helpful and prompt with deliveries. Their communication is also good and the telephone is always answered straight away. It is lovely that they are so easy to deal with and it is good that orders can be placed over the phone as well as on-line.

This was the only company we saw offering naturally seasoned firewood (as opposed to kiln-dried). They had options in terms of quantity that would keep us going a good while but not so huge that we'd struggle to store it (others had only small bags that are less economical or huge dumpy bags we don't have room for). And the gents who delivered it - Gary and Tony - could not have been more helpful.

We're new to the world of log burners and tried a couple of suppliers before finding Backwell Logs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they deliver the logs to just where you want them. They have also given advice to newbies. The quality of the wood is excellent, we've tried various hardwoods and their woodland mix and I can thoroughly recommend it all.

Reliable quality kiln dried logs, free delivery locally, maybe a tad more expensive than others but I've been ordering from Backwell Logs for years. Handy reminders and frequent special offers. Lovely Team.
