Grounds Café Milton
Good cup of coffee and an excellent piece of chocolate brownie on the deck at the back overlooking the water. The inclusion of a bike shop on the premises makes for an interesting juxtaposition. The cafe staff were very helpful.

What. a disappointment! After years of enjoy the place to the full I have been treated as an idiot !I came in the morning to order a toasted vegan wrap ; I asked - as usual - for a double portion of veg to which I heard “we cannot do it “ . When asked why finally I got an answer: we have run out of vegetables. OK it does happen.As agreed I returned at lunchtime and by chance saw kitchen staff chopping up the veggies. When I drew the attention to staff that I was lied to they said that I have misunderstood the explanation and they could not add any extra veg once the wrap is ready for sale . But to please me I was served the fresh rap - but not toasted !At least my double espresso was bearable…You need to up your standards as older, grey haired customers will abandon you.

The customer toilet is no longer available？took my children to the toilet, only noticed that there were two wet floor" signs blocking the door

Inside and outside seating. it is on the seafront. Good menu for breakfast, average food... we sat outside with the dog in a nice area by their crazy golf, with view of the sea, very pleasant, friendly staff

We stopped by for an ice cream after a walk around the park. Ice cream was great and there was lots of space to sit, both inside the cafe and in the seating areas outside.I know sometimes it can be really busy though!Staff were friendly and helpful and the ice cream portions were a good size.

Great cafe when they're open, with a good selection of toasted sandwiches, crisps, cakes and ice creams and a wide-ranging coffee menu.Lately, though, I've been getting there half an hour or more before their posted closing time to find chairs on tables already, and the kitchen and cake selection fully shut down and packed away. I'd love to pay for a sandwich and a cake after a relaxing walk in the park, but I guess I have to settle for a (still good!) coffee and a biscuit instead :(

Good location and decent variety of tray bakes, coffees and paninis. Unfortunately, the service is pretty poor. You can be standing at the counter for 5 mins as staff walk around cleaning cups without even acknowledging you. If you can see past that frustration, it’s good. They also close up 30 mins before the official closing time so bare that in mind.

Staff were really nice and friendly! Really dog friendly cafe too! Cleo had a puappuccino and a biscuit! The Oreo brownies both Vegan and Dairy were delicious!It was quite busy but they were keeping the queue going really quick!

Met a friend for a coffee. It was good coffee - I can't say much about the service as it wasn't anything exceptional as it was self-service. It is a nice place to meet and go for a walk.
