I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to sell their property. He was professional, friendly and knowledgable. From the first meeting I was impressed. The marketing photos and video taken by James were also outstanding and definitely lead to a quick sale for our cottage.Being independent meant that James was able to work around our schedule for viewings. By him creating our own WhatsApp group it meant we felt very connected to James and the movements of the chain.Our sale wasn't the smoothest for reasons beyond all parties control, but James kept us informed and really worked hard to chase others on our behalf. We felt we could totally trust him, and that is vital in such circumstances I think.I wouldn't hesitate to contact James in the future if we look to buy or sell our cottage again.

James provided an excellent service. He dispels all the concerns related to estate agents right from the first meeting. He brings a wealth of experience, genuine interest in your situation, a fantastic network of other professionals (EPC, Photos, Conveyancing) and keeps in touch. We recently purchased our house that was marketed by James. James was fantastic from our first enquiry, to giving us the keys and welcoming us into our new home. There were a few bumps in the road during the conveyancing process but James was always on the case and working closely with all parties throughout the process to achieve the end goal. We often found that James was one step ahead of the game and had already chased something that we were about to! We were genuinely so pleased to have James and his expertise only a message/phone-call away (even when out of the country!). A delight to deal with - we would highly recommend James to anyone!

We used James to sell our cottage in Chudleigh and would highly recommend his service! James offers a bespoke 'not on the high street' type of service. He is very knowledgeable about estate agency and the housing market having worked for many years in the sector. James was a consistent voice throughout the process, updating and advising us as things progressed (and when things were quiet). He even went above and beyond by advising us about our own purchase and reminding us about the process (it’s been more than a decade since we’ve purchased our first property, and we really appreciated the insight). The business of selling and buying houses is fraught with difficulties not to mention a considerable amount of stress. James offers a whole new perspective on the process not least because he is always on the end of the phone and if he wasn’t available when we called, he responded very quickly. In January 2023 we bought a house in Chudleigh, Devon. James' role was as agent for the vendors, but in fact he acted very capably for all parties in the chain.We contacted James during our search for a property. He assessed the type of house we sought and used social media proactively to find one.Our vendors were completing work on the house, and James acted to organise the way this was carried out.When the chain faltered James went the extra mile in contacting the other two agents and all three solicitors to identify the problem. He kept us closely in touch and reassured everyone that the sales could go ahead, which they did.We are very happy with our house, and very grateful to James Taylor.

I can highly recommend James Taylor. From beginning to end he has been extremely efficient, always on hand to respond to any queries calmly & promptly. Courteous & polite at all times. In fact, I would say he went above and beyond. He ensure the smooth running of the whole process, even when faced with issues with the ‘chain’. James spent a lot of time getting every detail correct and produced a high quality sales profile for the house with comprehensive photographs and video.
