The Brogue Trader

This weekend saw my first visit to The Brogue Trader and it certainly won't be my last. From the moment I walked through the door, James and his team were amazing. I took my time exploring the fantastic variety of shoes that they had to offer, once I had finished exploring the range I knew what I wanted. James then took his time to talk me through my Chosen boot and his knowledge of the product was first class. This is more than just a shoe shop and a real gem in the heart of the City, with its family philosophy running throughout. I would highly recommend paying a visit as the experience was second to none.

Just received my first pair of Loake Sneakers...what a treat for the feet!Having previously purchased Loake, Cheaney & Herring Brogues/Shoes from The Brogue Trader, I was ecstatic to discover they also stock Loake Sneakers.These Sneakers are a fantastic alternative to more formal shoes, being mega-comfortable with the renowned Loake quality & great to wear as an everyday option.My 16 Year Old Son even told me they looked good, so may have to grab another pair for him!

Came with my grandparents today. Bought some shoes, mirror gloss, polish etc. Service is absolutely amazing and props to Stephen as he is amazing. Good products too.

I had a amazing experience at the Brogue trader today, I called in to pick up some shoe cream and polish. I was given some great advice on shoe care and preservation. The treatment you get is an old fashion type you don't see anymore or anywhere else. Your a prized customer although I was only buying a few tins of polish. Fantastic service.

Came into the shop to buy my first proper pair of dress shoes. Greeted by John and James who were so attentive, offering a seat and a refreshment for me and my girlfriend. The whole service was top notch by the gents in the shop, they educated me on the shoes and how to take care of them. If I ever need any advice they are my first port of call. Little did I know I arrived at the shop when they were supposed to be closing, they did not turn me away but instead offered the top service they would offer as if they had just opened, so grateful for this. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend the shop and the gents to anyone. Very pleased

I thought I heard one staff member muttering this is not a good day" whilst I was explaining why I couldn't decide because they did not have clean Oxford shoes with rubber soles - reference to me being undecided and not a quick gain. Btw

Just joined the 6 pairs club and every visit to The Brogue Trader has been great fun and an education. Always a top class service from James and the team. Take my advice and treat your feet, you won't be disappointed!

I recently visited this store to inquire about some shoe care products. I was greeted by James, who knows a lot more about shoes than I could hope to, and he gave me some sage advice for bringing my shoes back to life. He recommended a couple of products, and told me which might be unnecessary.I found his overall service to be excellent and I have been back since.The store itself is absolutely beautiful, matched by the quality of the service received. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone looking to either buy a new pair of shoes or conduct some needed shoe care.
